I’m a huge Gilbert Melendez fan. He is the #3 ranked lightweight in the world with a perfect 13-0 record. He is the Strikefoce lightweight champion and he has also fought in Pride FC. I am from his home town of Santa Ana in Orange County California. I’m just curious to whether anyone else is a big fan of his.

hell yeah the purple belt sensation. I train at Cesar Gracie’s in concord. home of the Dias brothers. and Gilbert is best friends with em , and he comes in every once in a blue moon , cool guy, and is a surprisingly good boxer….but nick diaz owns all!!!!!!!

Yes, I am a fan. He has disappeared since his last fight in Pride. I have seen him sitting in the crowd at the bodogfight show in Costa Rica.
