it wud also be good to try pass from side control into the mount beacause the armbar is easier to get

coool

yeah he did a terrible job at explaining how to get that knee up. what i was taught was to grab the shoulder and use your elbow to sharply pin the chest before you pass your knee up to make them not want to move much lol

read either of the comments i typed above and it will explain this more. its actually a pretty good set up. after i learned it i pulled it off 3 weeks later after i moved to Cali and the guy i was rolling with had no clue i could submit him like that. everytime ive started with this i usually fail but end up doing one of the shit lets see 3 other submissions you can switch too from this

crazyrockeradd March 22, 2010 at 21:07

this is actually quite a difficult submission to escape from. i was looking all over for this submission cuz i learned it recently. if they somehow get their arm so that you cant arm bar that way its a real easy set up for a kimura. also you can rotate 180 for a normal arm bar. if you do the 180 for an arm bar and fail, but keep your knee tucked under the opponent, a scissor leg choke is ridiculously easy to pull off

thats not true, i actually learned this kind of armbar last week in my bjj class. if he rolls you the opposite direction it actually makes the a lot easier to pull off cuz they will roll into the position you want lol.

While is leg is pinned down on your throat?

lgb3000 March 22, 2010 at 23:44

All you gotta do is roll the opposite direction to him and you will go free…roll the opposite direction to where his head is.

Take this Avice:
1. put your finger on your nose
2. hold your breath for 5 seconds
3. say the name of your love
4. that person will ask you out on the next Friday
5. you will have the best day tomorrow
6. if you don’t copy and paste to 2 other videos you will have bad luck and die in 2 days

killajava March 23, 2010 at 01:01

i disagree, he is moving the joint upward towards the air while pressuring the forarm and hand downward with his upper body, the only flaw i see is it seems you could easily throw the person over you because they are so lobsided on you arm, you could however counter that with a regular armbar

dimi887 March 23, 2010 at 01:30

When you have an armbar…you’re supposed to pull the guys arm the oppopsite direction of his thumb. Here he’s like pulling the guys arm towards the thumb…doing some sort of strength arm crush. I can’t imagine this being effective against a more expreinced grappler………

hahahahaahah

Andy2stomp March 23, 2010 at 01:36

yea got to admit he wouldnt even be able to get the first knee over him…that puts him into the mount possition and thats what the other guy would do hs upmost to stop

blueangel140 March 23, 2010 at 02:31

looks like he can just push is butt over and get off the bottom

LilmAnn93 March 23, 2010 at 03:24
