yeah bmx is right just cause you throw a hook doesn’t mean u got the guy you need to follow with a right jab or something..

Dear Hylo,
I am really interested in your statement here, but as i com from Germany, i donĀ“t understand too well what “snapping, kicking the shoulder, snap at the elbow”
Would you like to express that in another way, please?

Thank you in advance,
best regards,

Deniz

After getting the mechanics down one can start snapping the punch. You know when you are snapping when instead of a thud you hear a pop.Like cracking a whip. You still punch through the target, but you are comming back to guard faster.Just turn the hips, kick the shoulder and snap at the elbow and you all will like the results

im not saying, go behind a guy and punch him. and i aint sayingthrow only ur hardest punches, both of our logics are the same, punch threw his head, breake the other side of his head, just different words. and u can throw hard ass punches with alot of follow through and not lose balance, what u think mike tyson does…

kanebuckley April 24, 2010 at 21:22

too much follow through ruins ur balance. dont try and punch some one behind him, just try to break the other side of his head off.

bmx42O April 24, 2010 at 21:56

hes incorrect, not to be a dick, but you want to follow through with ur punches, imagine ur just trying to punch a hole threw him and hit somebody behind him, then u square up again

This boxing tip is for beginners.. cant you see the title on top?? I pretty much guess when the beginner’s work their way up, then the movements will get more refined, dont u think??

not really good tutorial, he’s not using his shoulder for protection and there’s not much power in that shot coz he’s not turning that left leg that much inside…
