I hope the UFC doesn’t cut Gilbert Yvel after this loss. I say put him on the shelf until after Couture vs Toney, have him fight James Toney, win or lose.

Rothwell is tough, couldn’t really tell in the Cain Velasquez fight whether Cain would have finished him off decisively or not. I know the ref stopped the fight early, but I thought it was an early stoppage, Ben can take a beating.

I thought this was a good fight…I don’t know why ben was so disappointed in himself at the post fight interview..

Great fight. I was impressed with both fighters especially Gilberts ground game. Bens chin gotta to be the best in MMA at the moment bar Arlovskis.

Ben has a chin like a fucking engine block, this was a good fight due to the dynamics involved, yvel is a beast on his feet, powerful, fast and aggressive.
Ben lacks the physical strengths of Gilbert but mentally hes a whole different level, was good to see him given the chance to recover in the second… but that kick in the 1st wow.
Really glad ben picked up the win, he always comes across as a really good guy he spends alot of time with fans and unlike Gilbert doesn’t beat on ref’s lol
