Btw, Im not gonna argue with you anymore on this subject. And I agree with what you said earlier about the namecalling. But I just think that when you are talking about the best in the sport we are not talking about what ifs like what if this guys only weighed more and shit like that. p4p arguments have gotten way out of hand imo.

IF you put on weight you lose alot of speed and agility. Thats probably the reason why Sakuraba didnt put on weight. Or maybe he was just lazy. He is not a women, dwarf or a child, therefore dont make up excuses.
Ive seen Sakuraba fight and the only thing that impresses me about him is his ability to take punishment and his submissions, nothing else. Its a fucking bad joke that you even compare him with Fedor.
being a champ doesn’t make a legend, specially in sylvia and arlovski’s case. if it did then you and i both would have added Randlemen (UFC Champ) who both Saku and Fedor beat. and by your words then Belfort and Wandy are also Legends since both were champs and Igor was the top heavyweight of the day in his prime.. You completely missed my point on size. when two fighters are great, size indeed matters. an average heavier man against a great lighter man will lose most times.

If weight matter that much Sakuraba would have put on extra weight. Tell hong man choi, Zulu, Schilts and Bob Sapp how much weight matters, Im sure they would like to know.

If you’re going to call Sylvia and Arlovski legends then you’re showing me exactly what you know. I’ve already mentioned Nog, Coleman and Cro Cop as being Legends that Fedor fought and beat. And if you think weight doesn’t matter when you’re fighting another amazingly skilled fighter such as Wandy, Nog, or Igor Vovchancyan then get your head checked.

Semmy Schilts is a very good mma fighter and a fucking legend in K1.

ANd you are wrong about the people sakuraba fought. Q jackson, Shamrock, R Gracie is the only impressive wins he have.
Fedor have wins over legends suchs as Noguiera x2, Coleman x2, Cro cop(in his prime), Tim Sylvia, Arlovski among many others, including no defeats.

Schilt’s huge and not a horrible fighter, but he’s nothing special. his only notoble victories in MMA come to men he outweighed by 90-100lbs. Fedor’s a great fighter as i’ve said, but don’t try and compare his opponents to Sakuraba’s Nog, Cro Cop. Coleman are all time greats on Fedors list, maybe Arona and Sobral
Belfort, Braga, Newton, Shamrock, 4 Gracies, Cro Cop, lil Nog, Jackson, Funaki, Igor V, W. Silva, Tamura, Minowa all legends in the sport. Saku fought them and beast most of em.
Fedor went about 230 -235 in his pride days. Cro cop, Bobaloo, Arona and Arlovski all went in the 220s or lower. Sobral and Arona fought in the middleweight (205)division aswell. Herring in Pride was alot lighter than he is now, going around 225-235 in those days. Nog had about 5-10 lbs going around 240 in his Pride days.
And Zulu is big, but like i said not a great fighter. once he’s on his back he’s becomes a helpless turtle as we’ve seen.
You are the one that says weight plays such a huge role. Zulu weighs almost twice as much and Fedor pretty much terminated him. The only reason people like you think weight plays a huge role is because UFC started with all these different weightclasses
And you are wrong about Cro Cop Sobral Arona and Arlovski outweiging Fedor at the time. Both Nog and Herring was bigger than Fedor. And Semmi Schilt is not an average Fighter. You are also wrong about what you said about Saku
um which of his top opponents had a huge weight advantage? coleman had a 7lb one, he outweighed , cro cop, fujita, linland, renalto sobral, arona,arlovski. he was the same size as nog and herring. He was vastly outweighed by zulu and choi and scilt (average fighters).
like i said he’s an amazing fighter, he’s fought three of the greatest of all time in coleman, nog and mirko, but Saku’s fight list is fill with far more all time greats most truelly having massive weight advantages.

Fedor fights the best fighters all the time and is always outweighed by a huge difference. If you dont know what you are talking about its better to not say anything at all. The statistics speak for themselves. But you should really watch some fights and you will see the difference. Fedor doesnt have any weakness other than size. He is a top competitor in every aspect of the game.
i have no prob with folk who think Fedor is the best. The difference is though Saku fought the best fighters even when outweighed by huge differences. Fedor fought a few guys bigger but none were high calibur fighters atleast comparatively.
It’s not really Fedor’s fault since he is a heavyweight himself, but it goes to show how great Saku was weighing 185 and fighting 220-250 lb elite fighters and beating alot of em.

we’ll probably see the Rampage vs Lidell fight since they’re both under UFC contracts. I am a bit disappointed we haven’t seen Saku yet considering he was the embodiment of Pride. Though we have gotten to see Igor, Shoji, old Mirko and some others so far so hopefully we’ll get em. I doubt we’ll see anything with Fedor unless he signs with the UFC or retires though.
Zuffa/UFC bought Pride out ages ago bud. they’ve had the rights to Pride since it’s last show.
