@PokerPlum
I no right I hate that I like Tyson but if he lost he lost

PokerPlum November 14, 2009 at 17:32

Mike was a brilliant, brutal and fearless fighter. But please. Stop with the excuses when he lost fights. There are no ifs in boxing, only results.

praisethedog November 14, 2009 at 18:04

damn tyson lost that fight in such a terrible way, fuck it even so i still look up to him, because he was and still is a miracle, a hopeless street kid that was saved in a certain way, unfortunately there was a lotta people around him, that were and still are trying to take advantage, specially people like don king.

luker8342 November 14, 2009 at 18:15

i think mike tyson is just a fuckin ignorant basterd!!! i like proper boxers of the sport like joe calzaghe.. mike just goes in to fights to hurt people not to win… i mean yeah sure u sometimes wanna bury and hurt ur opponent because thats just wat the sport consists of… but i mean mike tyson beat up his wife and raped 2 women possibly more… hes just an animal…. and not in the good way

clockers678t November 14, 2009 at 18:26

I think your living in a little day dream land because mike tyson is NOT the second best fighter in history at all!!! you may like to think he is but he’s not… any boxing fan with a small amount of knowledge will be able to name you atleast 20 fighters who would of beat tyson on a BAD DAY

clockers678t November 14, 2009 at 18:49

Tyson was totally overated – ok yeah he was good at knocking out bum fighters but once he went up against anybody world class he got owned – great guy and i like him but he is not that great

sugeknights November 14, 2009 at 19:00

So why did Lennox Lewis and even Mike Tyson say that Klitschko in his prime would demolish any other fighters in history?

scotthovsepian88 November 14, 2009 at 19:55

Tyson in his prime would have DESTROYED Lewis.

1kidride2 November 14, 2009 at 20:38

mohamed ali is da greatest boxer of all time AND MIKE TYSON IS DA SECOND GOT IT MEMORIES

jinxkj November 14, 2009 at 21:05

No it doesn’t, at your age, you won’t know who the best where. Check out Tyson when he won the title in 1986 when he became the youngest heavyweight champ. Only one man in my opinion would have taken care of Iron Mike in his prime and that was The Greatest. And I’m sure I dont need to tell you who that is.

Snall666 November 14, 2009 at 21:50

Anyone who thinks Tyson had a chance in this is an idiot. If you actually watched the fight when it was live…you’d notice Tyson hardly threw any damn punches.

BrawlyProductionz November 14, 2009 at 22:01

lennox had the reach if he was mikes size he would of got KO’d

smoreau24 November 14, 2009 at 22:46

The end of mikeeee!!!

bazman85 November 14, 2009 at 23:28

i like how lewis has to push tyson onto the floor as he collapses onto him, karma rapist.

gvader November 14, 2009 at 23:37

Yes that’s right! Amazing!

TheChimeMan November 15, 2009 at 00:23

@gvader hey don’t forget jimmy wilde the flyweight with 137 wins 99 ko’s and 5 losses.

SuperAlex152 November 15, 2009 at 00:59

gd ko

ramrod20042000 November 15, 2009 at 01:51

Mike was exposed by Holyfield,Dougless and Lewis for what he was! A terrible infighter with a short reach. When he got inside all he did is clinch and hold.

regismo November 15, 2009 at 02:12

Yes, I understand, we all have our favourite it’s hard to be 100% objective. But Marciano was a great, definitely. End of my top 50 :

26 R Jones Jr 27 R. Hatton 28 A. Abraham 29 E. Holyfield 30 N.Benn 31 R. Bowe 32 F. Patterson 33 W Gómez 34 R López 35 M McCallum 36 M Johnson 37 L. Lewis 38 B. Hopkins 39 M. Canto

40 Tom Johnson 41 JM Mormeck, 42 E. Pedroza 43 Joe Brown 44 Mike Tyson 45 W. Vázquez 46 V. Bungu 47 S. Benigno Laciar 48 V. Saldivar 49 MW Yuh 50 B. Foster

haaaaawiiiii November 15, 2009 at 02:25

This shows that mike is not the best !!!

gvader November 15, 2009 at 03:02

I like your list. I personally think Ray Robinson was the best pound for pound but Henry Armstrong is an excellent choice. There was also a guy named Willie Pepp who won something like 200 fights. I admit i only say Marciano because i am a ginzo myself but i love Ali and even Joe Louis! Great job!

fsw20585bir November 15, 2009 at 03:11

For all you jealous people that wish Tyson could beat Lennox Lewis, you’s make up the excuse that Tyson in his prime would have won? What about when Tyson was in his prime and just won the world title at age 20, at that time he got beat by Lennox Lewis in the sparring session? The fights on youtube, Lewis actually put Tyson down a few times!
