@emokila123 sooner or later u’ll get too focused in applying what u trained in, technique, strategy, etc, to even be able to get “mad” in a destructive manner :D train long and hard enough… there’s no way u won’t get to that point!

You want to know how to take a punch? DONT GET HIT! COVER YOU CHIN, AND ROLL WITH THE PUNCH, AND MOVE! . No human can take a clean punch, dont be disillusioned by nonsense. GREAT POINTERS BY THE GUY

@ElRancholo2 Well, if the things you said all fail and the options are depleted, it’s still better to absorb it with trained muscles rather than have your head fly about and enhance the impact in terms of dazing you.

I don’t think anyone would seriously suggest not blocking, not dodging and just trying to defend by being tough and taking any punch or kick that comes your way. ^_^

xXTitoman66Xx February 10, 2011 at 22:16

A strong neck will help absorb the impact of the incoming punch. A strong neck will prevent the rapid acceleration of the brain following impact. We have all seen a bout where one boxer’s head is violently snapped back following impact. By strengthening the muscles of the neck, a fighter can prevent this occurrence. A strong and balanced musculature has always been one of the best ways to prevent injury. It sounds like you’ve never opened a book. =/

@ElRancholo2
You need to calm down ElRanchSauce. I never said that it would negate the factors you’ve mentioned, only strengthen your neck muscles and increase your neck’s ability to absorb shock. Floyd Mayweather uses numerous weighted neck resistance exercises – like the weighted neck extension – to strengthen the muscle tissue in his neck and upper back.

ElRancholo2 February 10, 2011 at 22:29

@xXTitoman66Xx stop, just stop. You don’t know what the fuck you’re talkinga bout. Taking a punch is about your brain absorbing shock, it depends on the position on your head (tuck your chin), the impact of the punch, (slip or roll with the punches), and whether or not you get a glove up in time to partially block a punch.

Whenever someone starts talking about “neck muscles”, they expose theirself as someone who has never really been in the ring.

xXTitoman66Xx February 10, 2011 at 23:23

Also, build up the muscles in your neck. When you throw a hook, your neck instinctively tightens up which reinforces your chin. So if your neck muscles are strong, they can become a counter-punch defense mechanism and increase your endurance.

@SuperSinghDarren yeah,, ppl farts

Bakri772 February 11, 2011 at 00:07

@ElRancholo2 lol the thing is i was just using him as a example you know he may have ducked many boxers sure but still he did have to get throught power punches and you are right about jones not that he is overrated but if he was in his prime he would beat calazghe but jones did prove himself in boxing and does deserve a place as one of the best p4p

ElRancholo2 February 11, 2011 at 00:14

@Bakri772 yeah, he ducked all the good opponents until they were washed up. I wouldn’t brag about that. A prime Jones would have KO’ed him in the first round, and Jones is even overrated. Calsloppy made a career ducking everyone and getting a free pass from the shitty British press.

Hotdaxter12 February 11, 2011 at 00:33

@SuperSinghDarren that or the camerman i can hear it to

RealChill127 February 11, 2011 at 01:19

@Bakri772 I know exactly what your talking about. I want to see the best fight the best, ya know? I don’t wanna see someone just fight decent fighters to keep a record, at some point they should try and excel into the next level. It leaves you wondering where they stood skill wise, kinda annoying. Oh and don’t worry about writing to much, thats me all day. i like talking about boxing but i just kinda got into it not to long ago so I don’t know much.

Bakri772 February 11, 2011 at 01:29

@RealChill127 lol couldnt agree more man things with boxers like calazghe and mayweather is they play it safe so they dont destroy there records which leaves me to wonder what there skills are if they dont take on the top contender do you know what i mean sorry man love talking bout boxing lol

RealChill127 February 11, 2011 at 02:05

@Bakri772 Yeah but calazghe was a bit of coward. He only fought the washed up fighters like Hopkins, I mean sure he is still great and I admire his good record but he’s certainly not the greatest. But I am sure EiRancholo would get slapped around by him easily lol

mazza5150 February 11, 2011 at 02:48

Wicked video.. but one question. How did you get your forearms to be that big? Man, i wish mine were at least HALF the size of your arms.

Bakri772 February 11, 2011 at 02:58

@ElRancholo2 joe calazghe he ended his career with no loses and he is british and he took many hard punches

Ceravolo1 February 11, 2011 at 03:28

He’s Australian not British
