Then the guy (SRL) who got beat by a corpse was still in his prime in 1991?

And Pryor was not known in 81. He’s the only unknown guy to sacrifice the satisfaction of one giant payday for a chance to make 15 giant paydays?

Ray was kind of the bigger name duh !…Pryor have to earn his dues just like everybody else. And if SRL was such a bum why not just fight him, manhandle him, get 10 times for the rm, manhandle him again ?

Hagler was never good enough to win fighter of the decade or even SI’s Sportsman of the Year! He was only good enough to hold the title while Leonard was inactive and good enough for a tune up fight for the greatest of that era – which he lost big time!!

Why didn’t Hagler move up and face Spinks when Hag’s own people encouraged him to? Why did he refuse Spinks? Duran moved up, Hearns moved up, Benitez moved up, Cuevas moved up, the greatest of that era – Leonard – move up. The only ones who wouldn’t move up are Hagler and Pryor. They don’t sound like greats to me…

Duran was fast enough to beat SRl at 29 years old

Hearns didnt get Terry norris fast until Duran and Hagler

That’s why i respect hagler so much becuz he could handle the speed when people said he couldnt

hagler did it way better than SRL

SRL couldnt handle the speed otherwise he would fight and beat Nunn

RJJ had no heart, if he had he wouldnt have ducked Lennox to fight Ruiz. Lennox wudda smacked that ass.
He beat two good names his entire careers. Unless you wanna call shot Virgil “Over The” Hill and shot never was good to begin with Vinny Pazienza for good names
