Question by BIngo: Can you take a mma class or does it have to be a seperate fighting style?

Can you take a mma class or do you have to take seperate classes like jui jitsu or karate. Like instead of taking a seperate fighting style class can u just take an mma class because it’s “mixed martial arts”.

yes, mma schools exist. the theories and knowledge surrounding arts like jiu jitsu and karate are more interesting though, and you may benefit from taking each of them and mixing them into your own martial art

Your stupid as hell its called MIXED martial arts. That means completley different fighting styles. its like asking if you can take school or do you have to take math and english and science.

you can, but i would take a class on like just jui jitsu or muay thai, because then you get the raw art and that makes you more specialized in a certain area. if i were in your position i would lear like two martial arts for a couple of years then go to an mma school

alot of school that are MMA, have a breakdown of disciplines such as

Monday: Wrestling
Tuesday: MMA
Wednesday: Boxing
Thursday: Muay Thai
Friday: BJJ
Saturday: Sparring/Grappling
Sunday: Prvt Training/Guest Seminars, etc.

This is just an example of the average MMA gyms breakdown. Therefor joiningthe MMA gym, they seperate the disciplines for you.

Best of luck :)
