This is the rematch between Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank. Eubank won an epic first fight but this one was much closer. Over 42000 crammed Old Trafford for one of the biggest boxing events ever staged and half a billion people watched worldwide.

they dont make them like that anymore, absolute classic!!!!
These fights between Benn and Eubank are pretty lame. They get so talked up, but they’re boring and both fighter’s styles are pretty dull.
You wanna see a real fight? Toney v. Jirov. Foreman v. Lyle. Hagler v. Mugabi. Those are real wars.
Benn wanted to prove to the public that he wasnt under Eubanks Shadow and he surely wasnt.
@DLPBurke to do what exactly?Put him on a stretcher? No.Benn won that fight,i paid my money at Old Trafford to watch donkey cock refs spoil a unification fight with a stupid fuckin draw.Watching it on tape afterwards that was a Benn win.Eubank was a fuckin fraud for most of his dreary career. He had some good wins but that fight was a joke decision.
@peaceman1234567 you need to do more than what benn did to take the title.
benn wanted this sooo much, benn won in my eyes not a doubt about it. a classic british fight one of the best.
@pmo56 and piss poor comment as well…just keeps getting worse.
Nah he never ! Couldn t shine like he wanted . Its A WAR and Benn won look at Eubank s face all through the last round get out of jail card free !
twat sorry its not hd sometimes life aint !
Poor fight, poor commentary, poor camera work, poor ring, piss poor night all round…
Benn won marginally even with the point deducted.
benn won da fight
he landed the cleaner and effect punches
The fight was poor, very close and very scrappy right through. But mathematically and realistically Chris Eubank won the fight on workrate!
If Eubank boxed in the last round he’d have won literally won it with the way the judges had it scored, but Ronnie Davies tells him to go flat-out. I had Eubank winning 8-3-1, the last round even because it was just so bad (can I score it 9-9?). With a point taken off for Benn, it makes it 117-112 for Eubank on my card (or 116-111 if I’m allowed to score the last round 9-9)
i always judge fightss with my own score card, and i had it 116-112 to benn,, but then because of the point deduction, 116-111, relii dnt know what happened here, eubank lukd sloppy and tired, nigel was the agressor and was landing the right hand all night long, eubank threw the jab but hardly landed it, both great warrriors though
well dunno why it was a political don king decision cos he lost both fighters as a result of it being a draw.the winner and the loser were to sign to him.
Eubank owned him!
did he fuck Eubank all the way!!!!
reg ‘ state the obvious ‘ gutteridge
Benn won that fight, fucknose what the judges were up to.
rounds 6-11 were all undeniably benns as well as rounds 2 and 4. if any1 has a different opinion then woch the fight again closely and u’ll c that this isnt even a matter of opinion, it is FACT.
BENN WON THIS FIGHT. it was fought at his pace, he was never hurt, he threw more, landed more, landed harder and successfully drew eubank away from his game plan not to mention wobbling him on more than 1 ocasion.
if that dont win u a fyt then i hav no idea wot duz.
BENN WINNER
NO ARGUMENT
Benn won that fight it wasn’t even a split IMO. He slowed at the last two but come the fuck on!!!! shame for Benn, he won it fair and square, this was a political/Don King decision.
At that time Eubank, Benn and Watson gave us some good saturday nights of boxing though. I thought Eubank just shaded it, but a draw was fair enough.
people make out tis is a classic! yeh right it was good tho
Good fight and great last round.
