Watch the exhibition grappling match between Shinya Aoki and Fedor Emelianenko. Size definitely matters and there’s plenty of examples to illustrate this.

first off your wrong rampage weighs in most fights at 205-210 hendo weighs in at 185-205 depending on which weight class he’s fighting in and second hendo wouldnt be fighting rampage if the fight was unfair….. It was evenly matched rampage was just the better fighter… But don’t get me wrong hendo’s my dude and I have more respect for him then most fighters

rampage’s alot bigger than hendo… 220 plus, and dan is more middleweight, so I say that hendo was the better fighter, but size decided the match

Rampage’s victory was pretty clear to anyone who doesn’t harbor a secret dislike of him. Henderson, a champion greco-roman wrestler, was completely unable to doanything with Rampage once he got taken down (a difficult feat in and of itself) and never was able to take down Ram-ram once. Further, Ram-ram won the stand-up (not dominantly, but clearly)Several judges agree, and that’s all that matters really.
