moltenthoughts November 10, 2010 at 22:28: @mysterymediacorp dana white is a sensationalist clown. the only thing we should expect of fighters is that they do what they can to win within the rules specified and act in a respectable way out of the ring. silva might have talked some shit but thats really pretty common in the world of mma and hes got alot more class then most other fighters. he won the fight it just wasn’t as spectacular as it sometimes is. people thinks fighters should make fights look flashy for them

Nowadays, there’s people who complain about guys not wanting to throw hands, when the fights go to decision…then there’s people who complain about mismatches when the fights end in the 1st round. When it was considered a “bloodsport” everything was far more open, there was more variety and a lot more fighting styles brought to the table. Too bad those days are gone…
