Dana White is a MORON!!! Let me know what you think about that, please read below.?

by MasterBlaster on April 24, 2010

Highly coveted and top-ranked mixed martial artist Fedor Emelianenko has signed a deal with M-1 according to a report from The Fight Network:

PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko has committed exclusively to the new ownership of M-1 Mix-Fight Championship, which has been purchased outright by an undisclosed American entertainment-related company, according to a source close to the deal who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
to let people know why i say he is a moron is because he could have signed him and let him compete in the world sambo championship. 1-2 fights a year, he was doing it in pride what makes ufc so damn BIG. now we’ll just have to see randy go down as the 2nd greatest hw champion, dana you’re an a-hole!!!
dustin b be knowledgeable about what you are answering before you talk. 1st of all zuffa has let people fight in other organizations (joe riggs for example)

2nd i do agree with you about what dana and the brothers have done for mma, no bad comment from me about that.

3rd i do know how much fighters make8 grand a fight, is that alot moron. they come to ufc because its commercial and is known worldwide. so if i had to get underpaid for a few fights and come up in the ranks and get paid better, then hey i’ll do so.

4th no reason to be pissed off at what you would say my lord fedor. he concreted his name in mma history. thats something randy and all other heavy weight have to wonder about.

5th you lil chock sucka you the one desprate, you didnt have to make a moronick comment like that. fhucking noob

Patti Ja April 25, 2010 at 01:46

I think nothing of it..it has nothing to do with my life

mattybear83 April 25, 2010 at 01:49

That’s Fedor Emelianenko’s problem. UFC is tops in the mixed martial arts world right now, and will stay that way until all of the fighting leagues eventually come under one universal banner anyway. It’s going to be like AFL vs. NFL. The competition will drive both to a higher level, and all will be amalgamated.

How about an extra two points for the use of amalgamated? How super extree smart does that ish make me sound?!?

Personally, I don’t think this is White’s fault at all. If Fedor really thought he was the best, he would want to fight the best… so either he’s scared of any real competition, or he’s only in it for the money. Either way, I lost much respect for him. Oh well, maybe someday he’ll get tired of running thru cans and join the big leagues.

Actually, I don’t think I’ve seen him fight anyone of real note, so I would agree with White’s position that he would have to earn his money in the UFC, not just have it handed to him before proving he’s worth it against top tier competition.

Also, the only reason anyone is earning ANY big money with MMA is because of what White has done for the sport. Without someone promoting the sport, and bringing the best of the best together, it would still be rage-cage matches in your local arena center with a half absent crowd. A moron he is not.

Dana White has no bearing on this. The fact that he wouldn’t allow Fedor to compete in the World Sambo Championships MIGHT be part of it but, Fedor has said that it is his dream to make Sambo a huge sport in Russia, M-1 fights out of Russia and is rumored to be giving him 10 Million a fight. It might be hard for people to believe but MMA existed LONG before UFC and Dana White and there are other companies that can do business just as well over seas. Plus I think M-1 allows soccer kicks and head stomps so I’m all for watching that.

The world needs to see Fedor take on the best in the world. Yes he is a Moron!

Dana White is a businessman. He did what he could to bring in the PRIDEFC talents. He brought in Rampage Jackson, Dan Henderson, Shogun Hua, etc. Obviously, Fedor was the top catch but he didn’t get to sign him to UFC. Things will progress for the UFC.

M-1 just gave Fedor a contract that he wanted, one which Dana White couldn’t give him.

summer_lebowski April 25, 2010 at 05:13

I read about this yesterday. I have to disagree with you. Dana doesn’t allow any of the UFC signed fighters to go and fight in other fight organizations. Could you imagine Rampage the LHW champ, going and fighting in another arena and losing??? What would that say about his UFC belt? That it was meaningless fodder. I mean do we ever see any athlete doing this?
I think Dana is just protecting his organization.

Well you can’t say UFC has the best in the world without Fedor. UFC could have captured the MAM world and had a monopoly but instead they left the best player out.

This is actually good news for the fighters. More promotions means more promoters fighting for the fighters driving up the pay of fighters. UFC won’t be able to pay dirt cheap wages very much longer.

First of all… NOBODY gets to work outside the UFC under a UFC contract. Why the hell should they make an exception for Fedor? One fighter is not worth 10X what everyone else is making. If Fedor wants to make Sambo a big thing, go right ahead. But he’s not doing it under a Zuffa contract.

Second, if not for Dana the UFC would be dead, and who knows if MMA would have EVER been legitimatized in the US. Dana and the Fertitas are the reason MMA is big in the US right now. Why? Because they know more about business than any of the Sherdog and Yahoo people who attack them.

Third, you have no idea how much fighters are paid in the UFC. I’ve NEVER heard any fighters leaving the UFC with complaints about how much they’re getting paid. The only people pissing and moaning are idiot fans who have no clue, and guys like Nick Diaz who just have to complain about something (Nick is an excellent fighter, he just needs to shut up sometimes)

Four, why aren’t you pissed at Fedor at all? It’s his legacy. The UFC doesn’t need him as much as he needed them. The UFC will continue to thrive, and M-1, Bodog, and all the other cash volcanos will sit in second place, or just close their doors because they’re losing too much money.

If you want too run off to M-1 to see your Lord Fedor, go right ahead. I meanwhile will be watching the UFC’s 155 division put on countless FOTY candidates (would you really rather watch Fedor vs. CroCop than Guida vs. Griffin?), and watch GSP and BJP create their own legacies against the best competition.

Yea I was disappointed. Then I got over it 2 minutes later. The UFC’s heavyweight division may be a lil stagnant, but 205, 170, and 155 are perfectly fine for me thanks. Don’t blame Dana for all of this either. That’s just stupidity. Fedor could have bent just as easily.

Also… What’s up with people answering questions they know nothing about? Are you really that desperate for points? Or are you THAT bored?

Edit1: Seriously kid. Come on. Joe Riggs was meaningless to the UFC. The only reason he got a title shot is because Karo was injured. They’re not going to overpay a fighter to go fight somewhere else. Can you imagine if some young guy in Russia submitted Fedor in one of those tournaments? Do you realize what that would do to him? Also, fighters who don’t sell tickets get paid like 8 grand. And that’s only what’s released to the public. Condom Depot.com probably gets loads (no pun intended) of hits when we see it plastered on Arlovskis ass. Fedor wasn’t going to make 8k per fight and you know it. NOBODY needs 10 million to “provide for their families.” But you’re right… Nobody has a clue who Randy Couture is… You’re just making yourself look stupid. Also that last line wasn’t even aimed at you. Learn how to read… and type.

OK lets say Fedor becomes the UFC HW champ , then he
goes and does a Sambo match and breaks his leg or loses.
The UFC would have to take his belt away if hes not able
to defend it and if he loses he makes his ufc title a freakin joke. If Fedor wants to go fight a bunch of no talent nobodys
and not come the US to fight Randy hes only making himself look bad. Im not going to pay a dime to watch Fedor
fight a bunch of cans. I’m gonna laugh when M-1 declares
bankruptcy because nobody is buying thier ppv’s.
