I would put my money on GSP. Silva’s last few fights have been total dissapointments.. he doesn’t finish them, even when he can. I think GSP would be his toughest fught yet, both have similar styles. Both fighters are dangerous on the feet or on the ground, would LOVE to see this fight.. this would be my superbowl:)
Anderson Silva’s just a fucking douche bag. I don’t care what was said between him and Maia. Fighters talk shit all the time, but I’ve never seen one act like a cocky high school football player in the octagon before. I have lost all respect for Silva. @TemplarX2, what fight were you watching? Anderson didn’t gas against Maia, or else how would he have been able to dance and jerk around in the final round the way he did?

I seriously don’t think Silva comes even close to GSP’s reliable cardio performances and the ability to perform consistently, he IS the best pound for pound fighter all around no questions asked because he actually fights, this isn’t a dance competition it’s a fight. You’re supposed to hit your opponent not run away from them and when it comes down to it GSP understands his role as a MMA champion.

you can talk down to SILVA as much as you want but he has way more champion status than GSP! at least after he dominated his division he moved up and still proved to be a champion! and now he wants to cut down to prove it again! i never seen that from GSP! lets see him grow some balls and move up and challenge some middle contenders! if you ask me GSP doesn’t deserve SILVA!
