willman808 January 23, 2011 at 15:26: Maybe he is a somewhat of a douchebag (I don’t really think he is, he as his moments, but overall he’s not) but at least, as others have stated previously, he keeps it real. Voices his actual opinions. There are times where he can’t be his complete self and has to put on that professional face/attitude (such as with the recent Tapout incident) and you can’t hate on him for that. Well, you could, but that’s your choice.

His job isn’t to move MMA forward or promote the UFC’s latest card (that’s the duty of the UFC and them alone), its to comment unbiasedly on MMA. Criticize Rossen’s opinions, but don’t tell him he shouldn’t be able to voice them.

Sherdog is a very credible MMA news source & just because they do not write what Dana would like them too does not mean they suck at their jobs. In fact it probably means they are better at it. If you wanna read the gospel according to Dana check out Yahoo sports!

Dana is excellent at his job & has done more for the sport than anyone else but he makes mistakes & the media takes him to task. I want objective commentators not mouth pieces for Dana. Drink the cool-aid if you want.
