Dayum straight they should have. If a chick wants to fight, thats kewl. Why men only fights, gets boring, even the ancient Greeks and Romans knew that.

That would definitely be interesting.

Yes…I can’t see why women should not be able to fight in MMA. I recently watched one between Gina Carano and Elaina Maxwell on Strikeforce. It was a heck of a fight. These women are very talented and deserve a payday.

Big Country024 April 8, 2010 at 17:32

Hell Yeah! That would be entertaining, controversial, AND sexy.

bushido. April 8, 2010 at 17:33

naked in jelly,mud,or baked beans?

Earl of Trollshire April 8, 2010 at 17:41

No, that would be sickening. ughh…..what kind of female would fight in mma? Look, any guy who says they want to see this HAS NO SEX LIFE….BUTCHES ARE NOT SEXY….THEY ARE DISGUSTING

Yes it would be good to see these women progress from smaller shows like “Hook and Shoot”

These women are sensible enough to know when to fight and when not too. The women that would compete would be top class Athletes like all of the other UFC fighters. Why should they be discriminated against just because they are female??

I’m sure if you were asking if a woman should have the right to vote or should women be allowed to drive, it would be a different answer.

What is the difference between this and women that Rock Climb? Is that not classed as a dangerous sport? If thats what the women want to do, if thats what they train for, then i’m sure they should.

NO!

SmileyDude763 April 8, 2010 at 19:03

NO NOT AT ALL.

ninedemonsgod April 8, 2010 at 19:23

Depend. If they bring in someone qualified such as Erin Toughill, Debi Purcelli, etc… Then yes!

However unfortunately from what I see, lot of women fighters are horrible! I’m guessing this is due to lack of competition in amateur, so it’s easier for them to get in professional. This hurt their reputation because they end up fight really sloppy and show almost no techniques at all. This will make women MMA look bad before they can even get big.

I’m gonna to catch a lot of steam for this one as well, but… I believe that until women MMA get settled, they should put in a decent looking women fighter. No I’m not saying they should look like a super model. Why? because what if we only have mostly overweight bulldyke fighting, how do you think this will make women MMA look? Yes this has been done with male fighter, K-1 Max is perfect example of this. K-1 Max has been known to take in fighter who have male super model look in order to attract more female fans and sponsors.

Yes, they should. Unfortunately this will never happen. This is because the U.F.C is little better than a whore house. The only women who get in the octagon are naked and pouring sudsy water over themselves, or they are waring a bikini. This is why I stopped training in MMA style.

kobrajesus April 8, 2010 at 20:14

No, first of all chicks just don’t have knock out power and it would make for boring fights. The number 1 reason I like MMA is to see guys get completely messed up and get back up and try again. I would’nt mind girl jui jitsu matches or boxing is ok I guess.l

Slappy April 8, 2010 at 20:24

Yeah. There isn’t the variety of women fighting yet. You’d have the same people over and over again, but it might encourage more women to join in.

scorpion187us April 8, 2010 at 21:19

Yes. The smaller shows do and I think it would add a different spin if both of them did.

Ultimate Fighter April 8, 2010 at 22:17

I would like that.

Ray H April 8, 2010 at 22:21

Yes, if there are enough interested women.

Rink Rat April 8, 2010 at 22:46

No, but that’s just me personally.I don’t to see chicks get all jacked up.I like them holding the round cards & walking around the cage.

zyllee April 8, 2010 at 23:44

It would depend on if the fighting were being taken seriously or if it were just some kind of voyeuristic thing to see women grappling around in skimpy clothing.
