@JerkNationGaming i guess i should have made self more clear. i was actually directing the comment towards your video, i actually didnt watch much of the video because i was to busy post that comment. i was speaking in genral, just saying ive seen most of the video’s and can tell why there been negative feed back. but anyway sorry for the confusion
@ObsessedGaming1 one again this is one of the first times we ever played the game we do not know the controll scheme yet.
i watch most of the ea gameplay videos and i see why some people are hating on this game. they have no idea how the game should be played and there striking is terrible. this is not the ufc striking were you just spam hooks and through haymaker after haymaker. you need to think about this like an actually fight, punch where you see opening, move slip and perry puches. striking is about setting up atttacks and then getting out thay way of counter attacks, not just sluging it out.
@Gwarrior407 it depends on what control scheme u want to do.
the defaul one using the right analog stick to punch jsut like Fight night if u ever played it. a to do takedowns x to reverse y to get up or get person off u and b to counter reverse.
there is also a classic control scheme where the buttons are kicks and punches and the right analog stick controls grappling. if u use the default hold left trigger and use right analog stick it will throw kicks hope this helped

omg i played this demo … it makes me do takedwns wen i dnt want to or is it just me?? also its hard to mix in kicks with standup thats probably just mee as welll

@jayparrish1 lol i was playing sheilds and i kept trying to reverse his 100 takedowns in a row but everytime i tried he would sock me in the face.

Coulda threw more power shots(right hands, etc.). lol I guess 50 jabs is just as good. lol Good gameplay though.

The person playing as Miller seems to have a broken analog stick… I mean he throws like no strikes…
And the person playing as Shields B button is broken, gosh they need to buy new controllers…

@JerkNationGaming it does seem like a KO, but did your game glitch or something because if it was a legit KO then the dude shouldn’t be on his knees at the end when the ref runs over to him, he should be on the floor…unconscious…
@alwayssunnyinny 8 seconds isnt the minimum time for a submission it is lie 4 or 5 if you are using a good fighter and it takes less than 7 seconds to get to full mount if you take him down and use major passes like what id id so i think youll find it is possible

yesterday i played the demo with a friend of mine, and I gave him a left hook, then a right, and then I finished him off with a spinning backfist, great:p

there are no commentary in the demo or just few it’s tko the referee stop the fight because he didnt defend himself so it’s no ko

@FeeneyGaming Thats not a knockout dumbass. And thats also a lie. By the time you took him downwhich is a minimum of 4 seconds and you would have to switch to full mount which takes a minimum of 7 seconds and the quickest you are able to submit somone in this game is 8 seconds. Grow up kid.
i did a quicker one i ran in took him down and armbar in like 10 seconds
… ive got faster.. mine was like 2 seconds? maybe 4 seconds, try overeem vs overeem and just dash forward and jumping knee him in the face i did it several times in a row.. and this was a TKO because if you noticed that the referee doesnt step in atall in this game he just says its over or whatever its a KO if he just falls down and you can’t jump on him and pound his face in you’re fighter just stops
@bdgil1 The games actually really fun once you get the hang of it. I suggest you try the demo, me and my friends had a lot of fun playing it.
yeah its a ko. If its tko the ref jumps in before you stop. This games looks kinda crappy tho
fastest? look at my video. i got a CLEAN knockout in 11 seconds. probably shorter if i never tried to touch gloves.

TKO is when the referee stops the fight. That clearly did not happen here. Watch the video again. The fighter is knocked unconscious, and the other fighter even roles him over to prove so.
