Yeah, white dudes that get beat up like Ray Mercer. Jens Pulver was unbeaten in boxing, and couldn’t make it in MMA. I guess boxing isn’t much of a combat sport.

“broadens a fighters knowledge” LMFAO. This is a good example of how some defend MMA. They idealise it and present it in the best possible light. IDEALLY a MMA fighter could be a champion in everything-boxing, wrestling, Judo, fist fucking whatever. In reality most concentrate on 1 or 2 disciplines and are not world class in either. With MMA what u see is what you get.

evrything in mma takes skill its broadens a fighters knowledge. it may not pay as much as boxing but it is, to people that are educated on it way more entertaining.
everyone in the world knows the chances of a boxer beating a MMA fighter is very slim. I wrestled in college and boxed since i was 10 trust me with my knowledge of both if i were to fight just a boxer i would beat em pretty bad ( its happened before more then once.
