What did you people think about Fedor vs Lindland match?
I could not believe all of this garbage people were posting few weeks prior to this fight regarding Fedor is going to lose to Lindland, that Lindland had better stamina, better wrestling, how well he would do in this match etc etc…
He did well all right. It took Fedor almost 3 full minutes to completely outclass him and finish him off.
Don’t get me wrong, Matt really is a great fighter and I honestly recpect him a lot (he lost to Fedor just like everyone else who ever faced him, no shame there). I’m just writing this to point out the ignorance and blatant disrespect of US fans towards all foreign fighters, even someone as great as Fedor, which is sickening really.
Having said that, who do you think could stop him next? How about Keith Jardine, or maybe the all mighty “Iceman”? I wonder how great he would do, or how many seconds he would last better yet!

i would like to apologize for my fellow americans. you must understand that they have just started following the sport of mma because they all the sudden saw a reality show on it , anhd now they think they know it all , and they think iceman is the best fighter alive , because they dont watch pride fighting because they dont have little cute reality shows , or catchy little fighters with soap opera personalities. its a shame that people like cro cop , or fedor dont get the recognition they deserve, perhaps they should take some drama classes and learn how to trash talk and not be able to back it up. dont conern yourself with these idiots who think they like the idea of battleing in a cage. this is just a fad in the united states , 2 years or so im sure sumo wrestling will be the next big thing….as long as it has a reality show.

American or not, only an idiot thought Lindland had a chance. I never once did, because I do not think Lindland is all that special anyways. A lot of people call him the best 185lbs. in the world but in my book he is not even top 5. Hendo, Filho, Kang,Spider Silva, Frank Shamrock, Akiyama, Cung Le, Sakuraba, would all mop the floor with Lindland, even Baroni or Bustamante could take him out.
You’re stupid…everyone loves Fedor…just because a few patriotic idiots who don’t know much about MMA claim Lindland would win and posted such comments doesn’t mean it’s the way every American felt! I was with Fedor all the way but after watching GSP lose to Serra last week, I believe anything can happen even if Fedor is possibly the best pound for pound MMA fighter in the sport today.
