Ultimate Fighting Championship 111 is to be held in New Jersey, the entire two belts at stake: Sovereign Georges St. Pierre (GSP) will defend his British Welterweight title against Dan Hardy (who defeated Mike Swick back in UFC105 and thus won the right to 1st meeting GSP ).
GSP is a great favorite, but maybe Hardy can pull a rabbit out of the hat? GSP has last spoken to participate in the Olympics,
so it may well be that his winning instinct is slightly toned down. Besides Welterweight title, put a temporary heavyweight title also at stake:
between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin.

The latter was originally supposed to meet Brock Lesnar in a couple of PPV’s back – it was not for nothing, and when Brock first returns in the autumn, you have therefore chosen to introduce a temporary title. Hopefully Mir wins, so we can get after years Mir vs Lesnar III.
The winner of Velasquez and Noguiera be expected later to meet the winner of Brock Lesnar vs. (Mir vs. Carwin). Danish Martin Kampmann – who last won a convincing victory UFC108 – also in the ring to UFC111.
UFC 112 will take place in Abu Dhabi – which has just thrown in a lot of money in the venture – and has as main event Anderson “Spider” Silva vs. Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort on Middleweight title. Belfort won the right to challenge the Spider to UFC103 when The Phenom defeated Rich Franklin at KO. This battle has been planned over several laps, but injuries to Anderson Silva has suffered this – until UFC 112 10th April. Besides Middleweight title, lightweight title also at stake. Holder BJ Penn meetings for Frankie Edgar.
The question is whether Edgar has even the shadow of a chance against BJ Penn scary.
And then the next man who will be trying to wrest the crown from Penn.
