@Obhi33 Oh i almost forgot to say something. Fedor isn’t considered the best p4p because simply he works the ground and stand up. What makes Fedor great is his intuition to study his oponent in a short amount of time, find their weakness, and turn the whole match around in an instants. Haven’t you heard the saying styles doesn’t make fights but fighters do?
No…. BJJ guys cannot beat Silva and it is unknown what will happen on the ground because no one has been able to. Also I been got it and have been ignoring due to the fact I found the match entertaining. Don’t see to many fighters dominate and embarass a oponent for 5 rounds and leaves without a scratch or a break of sweat. Only a p4p can do that.
@tman229 loooool he is a black belt in BJJ lol everybody is a blackbelt in BJJ even my cousin lol, Black belt means nothing in this business. Silva is a great fighter no doubt, he is a real fighter OK. But he is not the best p4p cz any good wrestler or BJJ fighter can beat him, and you know the reason why i call him “dancing monkey” his last fight was terrible.
@Obhi33 Silva doesn’t know how to fight on the ground? What are you talking about? Silva is a black belt in BJJ AND Judo. He just chooses not to fight on the ground. Just because he doesn’t fight on the ground in his recent matches you think he doesn’t practice his BJJ or have no skills at all? Come on. Also Mixed Martial Arts doesn’t technically mean you need a stand, takedown, and ground game. It just works better that way. Silva is a true mma fighter if you look at all his styles.
@tman229 this sport is called” Mixed martial arts”, MIXED martial arts and if you want to be the best “p4p” you should be a master of ground fight and standup plus good takedowns. Why the people consider Fedor as the best p4p? cz he knows how to fight in ALL positions. Silva is GREAT striker no doubt bu FACT is he can’t be the best p4p the main reason is he don’t know how to fight on the ground, every good BJJ fighter or wrestler can beat him. Thats not the best p4p in MMA.
@Obhi33 You’re trying way to hard to make Silva look bad. Silva has not lost a match in a very long time and Silva skills are far more impressive. You must be a very loyal BJJ practicer because you go on and on about it. However, BJJ (ground fight) is only one aspect of MMA and it doesn’t mean swat if you’re not good enough to utilize it. Silva shows he is dominant with his striking skill in MMA alone against most to all styles and that is what makes him p4p.
@tman229 lol ” he is winning his MMA matches” Carwin, Valesquez are both undefeated, this guys “winning” their matches too. Silva loses 4 fights, so why u call him best p4p? I said b4 if he wants to be the best p4p he should DOMINATE Maia on the ground and on the standup. ( P4P is big title) Anderson Silva doesnt deserve him, he is afraid of BJJ fightrers. He is a great standup fighter no doubt but Mousasi could hande him with punches.
@Obhi33 Third…. for the last time……. he is winning his MMA matches and that is what makes him one of the best p4p if not the best. Stop saying this have to jump into Maia’s guard crap. He should only HAVE to use it when Maia get’s Silva on the floor. Other than that he don’t have to get on the floor if he isn’t forced. Why you want Silva on the ground so bad anyways?
@Obhi33 A couple of points I need to make. 1. Silva is not Fedor and Fedor is not Silva. Fedor loves a little of stand up and ground game so of course we will take the challenge. Silva perfers to stand it up. Different personalities = different fighters = less dull and predictable match ups. 2. Just because everyone says Fedor will tap if he fight Noguira doesn’t mean it will happen. What majority says doesn’t make it gods law.
@tman229 Mousasi has also speed and accurate strikes. did you see 2003/04 Fedor vs Noguiera? B4 Fedor face noguiera EVERYBODY says that “Fedor will tap if he fight Noguira on the ground….” Noguiera is STILL the best BJJ guy on the planet and he was way better 2003/04. But Fedor JUMP in his guard and make him look lika an “amateur” he wasn’t afraid of Nogs ground game, he dominate him on the ground and the standup. thats why The dancing monkey can’t be the best p4p. He is afraid of Maias BJJ…
@Obhi33 Silva has accurate strikes, speed, and evasion far beyond Mousasi’s and Silva had no problems with Maia whatsoever. I dunno what you were watching. Also what fighter would jump in another fighters gameplan? That’s just dumb. What does he needs to prove then he already whooped Maia before half the match ended? He is winning and easily which is why he is p4p not because he jumps in everyone’s advantages like a retard.
@tman229 Why he isnt on silvas level on the Satndup????? Fuck he even had a lil bit problems with Maia on the standup. Silva is a overrated dancing monkey who is called by his boss Dana “best p4p” lol to be the best p4p he should JUMP into Maias guard but he was afraid. Silva is overrated. Mousasi can handle him.
@Obhi33 Mousasi isn’t on Silva’s level when it comes to stand up. Who knows on the ground because Silva haven’t needed to set foot in a ground game in a minute. And Mo’s takedowns would probably get stuffed just like Maia’s. Can’t you just admit that maybe Silva has some great takedown skills? Does he have to do the same thing to a wrestler to finally realize or will there be someone else to throw at him?
@tman229 that wasnt a racicst comment, but he is what he he is a “dancing monkey” Silva was afraid of Maias ground game he would be also afraid of Lawals wrestling sklils. But when he would fight Mousasi that would be a great fight, Mousasi likes the Standup and the dancing monkey like the standup too.
mousasi would handle him.
@Obhi33 Yea you’re delusional and I hope that wasn’t a racist comment. Any one with a brain can tell Silva could of finished him whenever he wanted but just didn’t choose to. Second it doesn’t matter whether Silva was afraid of Maia’s ground game or not because Maia couldn’t get him down for his life. Never seen takedowns stuffed so easily.
@tman229 i saw thw dancing monkey against Maia, well who the hell is maia? Silva coudnt KO him and he was afraid of Maias ground game haha.
@Obhi33 Why are you lying to yourself. He gased out in the 2nd round. Silva can toy with people for a whole 5 rounds.
war mousasi.
He would beat Anderson Silva on the standup. Silva is a overrated dancing monkey.
Mousasi won that fight fuck the rules of MMA because judges give you lot of scores when you take somebody down. look at the king mos face it was smashed
King Mo stuck to the game plan… good for him.. bad for mousasi, but a fucking shame to MMA fans and CBS watchers… cause it sucked !!!!!!!
Machida would eat him…
