why is tapping out being a pussy if your getting loads of strikes on the floor your going to tap out because you know you have know way around it…. its rather tap out or get knockout lol i would rather tap out than come round and say to myself who won the fight

JACKOTACO May 7, 2010 at 00:30

wtf is kelibroom? haha..is he trying to say equilibrium?

Interkomkomind May 7, 2010 at 00:46

@13seven13 Hell no !?!? no one can beat gsp at the moment . no one is good enough yet especially not jake shields . Hardy didn’t expose shit . he got owned . gsp wasn’t in danger at all in the whole fight . sure he should have finished him, but he couldn’t bear to break his shoulder by the kimura . so well yeah . and if you notice at the end when theres only 5 seconds left. Gregs tells him to finish and he pulls a perfect armbar in like 2 seconds . he could have finished him anytime .. anytime.

HighflyXx May 7, 2010 at 01:21

He still beat GSP, gotta give him credit.

forbesfoofighters May 7, 2010 at 01:44

@ghostriderjag serra hit the back of the head while gsp was trying to bob under refer to belfort vs franklin that is LEGAL. gsp punched penn over 10 times in the back of the head while the ref continuously warned him yet did nothing. if gsp thought he lost his “keylibrium” when serra hit him he is gonna be in for a rude awakening if he ever steps up and fights silva. your mind is wrong, this fight certainly did happen.

pinoyoutoob May 7, 2010 at 02:25

serra looks like aaron lewis

mcwaddle May 7, 2010 at 03:04

@trapped24621 very true

trapped24621 May 7, 2010 at 04:02

@13seven13 ur kidding right? did you see dan hardy’s training, he did so much stretches and shit, he trained with monks and they made his bones stretch like crazy, so he didnt tap cuz it probably didnt hurt as much as it would to someone else, he showed absouleutely no holes, all he showed is how damn good his takedowns are.

deeeznuts00 May 7, 2010 at 04:25

MMGAY.

azndragon4life May 7, 2010 at 04:49

@ahjrome GSP said that if he does decide to move up to middleweight he wants to do so at a rate while it won’t be hindering his body. It’s probably more difficult to put on weight and maintain your speed and such. MMA fighters cut down weight a lot; look at Alves for example or Carwin. I don’t think its accurate to compare boxers and mma fighters since one specializes in one aspect while the other has to incorporate more

nghthwkz May 7, 2010 at 05:08

@13seven13 You mean the way he just sat on top of Dan Hardy for pretty much 25 mins? How he passed Dan Hardy’s guard like it didn’t exist? Sure, he definitely made mistakes, but if you’ve watched Shields at all, he’s not exactly the best grappler. He’s got a two stage takedown which definitely won’t work on GSP, and he can’t stand up for shit. The only reason I want to see them fight is because it’s probably the only chance we’ll see GSP knock someone out.

ScruffyBueno May 7, 2010 at 05:36

matt serra… what a joke.

toolover10 May 7, 2010 at 06:15

@paolosniper1 Kimbo beat Silva…LOL

ahjrome May 7, 2010 at 06:53

GSP is a good fighter but only ppl i want to see him fight is anderson silva or Jake sheilds. Why should Silva move down to 170 when GSP can just gain a few pounds and fight at a catch weight. I mean If BJ Penn can fight Lyoto Machida and lose by decision. Y cant GSP go to 177 or summtn and fight Silva. Boxers do it all the time, so why cant mma. I mean look at the pacman. He started his career at 116 an now he’s fightn at 147. If u wanna be the best u gotta beat the best.
