@Yambam415 better with age….my ass…. i love hopkins though and i think joe calzone sucks a dick… he throws flurries of sissy punches constantly!!!! and thats how he wins by slap punching…but honestly he gets little to none on knockouts….

salamoatavita June 14, 2010 at 19:08

@dooby510

Tarver would be a nobody if it wasn’t for ONE victory over a version of Roy Jones that revealed himself to be completely shot as a fighter.

meutoober June 14, 2010 at 20:03

cant handle workrate, roy is perfect now.

jonathan2002ga June 14, 2010 at 20:18

SteveGamica June 14, 2010 at 20:36

they fought like mexicans?

nenitecto June 14, 2010 at 21:23

the first two fights are great man, they fought with heart like the mexicans. maybe gay ass mayweather will learn from real fighters

scarrillo31 June 14, 2010 at 22:14

Hmm hello!!! Boxing is scored in individual rounds!!! Then it’s all tallied up at the end!

2bonus7 June 14, 2010 at 22:37

b-hop is my favorite fighter hands down…but the way boxing is scored, i say u have to give taylor the nod in their 1st fight.taylor never hurt b-hop, but b-hop basically didnt even fight rounds 1-8 w the exception of round 5.rds 9-12 b-hop finally made a fight out of it, and dominated. if u had 2 judge as one 36 minute fight as opposed to breaking it up into 12 individual rounds…then hopkins clearly won the fight…but because hopkins rarely engaged rounds 1-8…taylor wins on points.

This clip was posted before that fight which happened in the fall of last year.

What!? No Hopkins v.s Pavlik?

joneslt June 15, 2010 at 00:21

They left out the key break through victory that propelled Hopkins into stardom, and that’s his fight with Trinidad. Not only was it his most important fight, but was probably also his best performance against a top ranked fighter. Leave it to HBO for a poor, half hearted attempt at a highlight video with little to no thought or effort put into it.

LOL good job to make oscar delahoya vs bernard hopkins look like an intense fight. that was a slooow fight where their average punches a round was something like 20

salvadormeza June 15, 2010 at 00:23

paquiao isnt even close to what chavez achieved on his whole career!! try going 89 or 90 fights without a lose. and defending his title for 10 years!! chavez was a true warrior.

dooby510 June 15, 2010 at 00:51

Nah, Tarver is the man who dethroned Roy Jones Jr. Tarver is good, he just had a really late start – he was what – 37 when he fought Jones?

hinduw June 15, 2010 at 01:40

i think tarver is juuust a bit over rated….a bit :

JustMeShan June 15, 2010 at 02:04

phyduck215 June 15, 2010 at 03:14

Calzaghe wtf throws fucking slaps

Whyavier June 15, 2010 at 03:55

You have to admire De La Hoya for even getting in the ring with this beast. He’s not the coward some seem to think he is.

TheTerrorUforgot June 15, 2010 at 04:52

Functional boxing isn’t points. If you look to its origins it was made to fight. You can’t win an actual fight by points, and boxing used to have no rounds, then 15 rounds, and now its 12 and point wins are more common. Ideally, a boxer would win every time by KO.

DerrickHair June 15, 2010 at 05:50

he punished trinidad!

avalino79 June 15, 2010 at 06:06

what about the Trinidad KO…
