Ortiz is the better fighter and if they ever fight again, Maidana is gettin folded.

Named Round of the Year by Ring Magazine.

I remember watching this fight this was sooo awesome. I always thought Maidana looked like the kid from that movie Alpha Dog though. The kid that they killed at the end, he also played the russian guy Chekov in the star trek movie that came out recently. Anybody know the kid I’m talking about?

damn! sick round

goreguzzler May 1, 2010 at 23:31

But what about being badly knocked down with a headguard by Craig Watson in the amatuers.
What about being floored by Richid Drillzane, Willie Limond and Michael Gomez.
Sorry but a devastating puncher like Maidana will put Khan to sleep, if he can get through.

BoxerBoyMartin May 2, 2010 at 00:08

fuckin sick ass 1st round and whataright hand from Maidana.

TheDagna85 May 2, 2010 at 00:37

maidana jabbed ortiz’s left hand out the way then shot a right. that was smart

razgrtz May 2, 2010 at 01:22

Khan was hit with a perfectly timed shot. Anyone would have gone down.

This fight showed more than just Ortiz’s heart should be in question.
It showed Ortiz can take a hell of a punch, yeah he got dropped, but he just got caught. The second knockdown was more of a fall down.
It also showed that he can fight. He hits hard and has fast hands.
It also showed that he can box, becuz every round he won, he won by outboxing Maidana as well as out fighting him.

So do u really think Khan can beat him. Definitely not by knockout.

youngrichie May 2, 2010 at 04:27

He could out-box Ortiz with ease who lets face was the Golden Boy pin up prior to this fight but question marks remain over Khan’s chin…can he mix it with a puncher?

deathlord619 May 2, 2010 at 05:01

Well please show me something, i didn’t hear him say to the doctor no more, he looked at his face and than the doctor said to the referee no more. Also it was because of his wrist Ortiz is a natural right hander but he choses southpaw because he feels more comfortable. Not having his right hand 100%, will great hinder his performance. Just like pac you think if pac hurt his wrist or left hand he would do as good? Hell no!

jorellr21 May 2, 2010 at 05:40

lol and he wanted to fight Pacquiao callin him out like he could really take his punches.
