How can you sign up for MMA tournaments and how can you find out if there are any being held in your area?

I want to try fighting in an MMA tournament, but i don’t know where to begin or how to find one. My experience in this area is lacking, so if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Shouldn’t you actually train for a few years before competing? Just how “lacking” are you? If you attend a martial arts school regularly you should be aware of any promotions in your area. We have them round my neck of the woods all the time (Grappling and MMA that is).

Your best bet would be to find a local MMA gym, and see if they can help point you in the right direction.
Good luck!

You should find a gym that does mma if you want to get into mma event and if you do that your trainer should (when your ready) put you into one and do all the work of papers and talking for you and all you’ll have to do is fight… which is the fun part
