How come Karo Parisian did not even make the UFC 78 preview show?

by MasterBlaster on March 28, 2010

Karo has to be a fan favorite. He even has a win over the current champ but he can’t even get a spot on the preview show? Does the UFC management not like Karo?

TUF was the downfall for the UFC. All these scrubs help make the UFC watered down with talent, then cagey veterans (no pun intended) that have true skills and have earned their way into the UFC get no credit. I am looking foward to see Karo much more than I am looking foward to watching Bisbing vs Evans. Evans couldnt even beat Tito, and Bisbing won a crap decision (after getting pounded all night) over Hamil and they are the main event?

The problem is the Welterweight division is the UFC is stacked. Serra winning the title didn’t really help Karo, even though he does own a win over him.
GSP is the top dog with Hughes right behind him. After that you have Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck, Diego Sanchez and then Karo. His losses over both GSP and Diego don’t help his ranking either. Seems like he needs to beat Ryo Chonan then someone like Fitch or Koscheck to be considered a contender again. What really sucks is that he was up for a title shot until he got injured a few years back. His road back to the title shot now is very difficult, but I do think all his tough fights will prepare him for that day.

Yes brapper… All those scrubs like Diego Sanchez who beat Karo. Very good argument. And I don’t know what fight the rest of the world was watching, but Hamill/Bisping was pretty close. Neither one landed much at all, and if anyone thinks Hamill deserves a higher spot than Bisping, you’re retarded.

Bisping vs. Evans is the main event, and people seem to think Houston Alexander is good, so those two fights are taking the most of the attention. I hope Alexander keeps falling down during his fights so people will realize he’s not that good.
