umm well first off you spelt jiu-jitsu wrong… just because you want to be a fighter does not mean you must fight in the ufc. thee is other major brands.. ask your self this how much do you weigh?? for however much you way can you actually see yourself fighting bj penn, uriah faber, gsp, rich franklin, anderson silva, IDK canu you actually see your self competing against any of these guys

You need to get a contract with them.

Basically it’s like getting a job, so you need a good resume.

Your resume is your MMA experience, and basically you have none.

Your height, weight, street fighting experience, athleticism, and other skills are useless without MMA experience (professional fights).

Another way to get a contract will be through Dana White, if you know somebody in his network to help you out.

You can also try out for the next “the ultimate fighter” reality show, if the choose you and you perform well, you can also get a contract.

good luck!

You would think seven years of training and so much promise that they would have found you. Obviously, you have to get discovered. This can be done by beefing up your record or knocking off a well known fighter… which you won’t be able to do until you prove worthy to attain the fight. Get with a respectable school and/or start registering for higher echelon tournaments. (Not pay-after-close fight nights at pubs) You had also better get into phenomenal shape, seeing as you would be competing against the world’s elite fighters. It would help to lose the not-so-humble attitude as well. It’s not about how you fight right now, it’s who you fight… and you have fought nobody. Don’t get discouraged, I remember a year and a half ago people were calling GSP a puss and a flake because he didn’t beat the champ, Matt Hughes. How quickly things change in this sport. (He didn’t spell jiu-jitsu wrong, but he did use the Japanese spelling, which I’m sure he doesn’t practice… the paradigm)

If you think your good enough to compete you gotta start from the bottom up pal, you just don’t walk into the UFC headquarters and sign a 3 fight contract. I have a connection to the matchmaker from King Of The Cage if you are interested. Quite a few UFC fighters have came out of KOTC (rampage jackson the most popular). If you are dead serious let me know. You won’t make more than maybe $350 – $400 for your first fight but you gotta start somewhere.

You’ll have to have a contract with them and thats not easy to get. You’ll have to fight your way in or know someone to get that. Start off small in pride, ifl, local competition, whatever.. that helps.

A good idea is to post videos of yourself training and fighting (amateur or pro) on you tube. you could get noticed that way. worked for Kimbo!
