Im a 17 year old living in Malaysia and doing various martial arts. And since the only MMA schools are not in the state I live,I cant spar with enough people.
And in afew years i would be going overseas to study. So i’v been thinking, when i go,I wanna try going for an amatuer MMA fight.
How do i get into one? Are they common?

Yes, they are common.

Wherever you go, look up any local martial arts schools and take some classes there. You can use Google to look them up. If they have good instructors, stay with them. Let them assess your skill level and determine when you are ready to fight. They will set up a fight at some event.

If you are not that patient, just go into a school and ask them, then sign yourself up and pay the registration fee.
