How do you get “Press Pass Credentials” for Boxing Events?

by MasterBlaster on March 26, 2010

I was wondering how someone can get press credentials for fights like if they write for a local paper or blog? where do you apply and are they free? Do you get to watch the Actual Fight inside for free or do you have to pay for tickets?

if you are a media writer (blogging probably won’t cut it) but if you are a staff writer or higher for a media publication, it is possible to get a pass … the pass means you watch the fight for free and eat free food in the press box. Some media execs get real nice seats ringside.
