There’s a link for you to find and contact an MMA club.

Go ahead.

It’s a list of all MMA centres in your area. No need for thanks, i’m only doing my job.

If you only choose a club from that list and you’re devoted to their training, then that is enough. You inevitably do some amateur fights if you’re dedicated enough.

If you are serious about become a MMA fighter, then you need to train something other then Tae Kwon Do.

http://www.thefightclinic.com/ is a school in Mississippi.

You need to have a fundamental Ground Game (wrestling or BJJ), and a good standup game (Muay Thai, American Kickboxing).

Start fighting locally in amateur shows, build your record up, get experience. Once you got a good record, contact a manager, and get some pro fights. Get your name out there, and start sending promo tapes to the big companies. if you are still serious, then you should probably move to one of the bigger schools in USA to get contacts with people who have fight contracts.

you have to be devoted and willing to train hard for it. Dont fight for the fame or the money, because you are not going to be making big money in mma sadly. Unless you make it big, or get good sponsership, you are going to need to probably work a full time job to support your MMA. Good Luck

Tapout is a clothing/gear brand, not a fighting company. They sponsor MMA fighters, however. Any fights you saw on the Tapout show were local fights around the country with different promoters.

The UFC is the largest, most successful MMA company in the world. Rookies don’t typically end up there. By the time most of their rosted ended up there, they had been fighting in other MMA events for at least three or four years.

Your best bet is to look for an MMA gym in your area. Often, a BJJ (Brazilian Jiujitsu), Judo, boxing, Muay Thai, or kickboxing gym will train fighters for MMA events. Once you join a gym, you’ll have to spend moths training before your first fight. You’ll have to pick up wins at the smaller shows before the UFC will even look at you. This isn’t something you can just do as a hobby or on a whim if you really want to get in to the UFC. You have to dedicate yourself to training, and fighting at the best of your ability.

TapOut is a clothing brand, and an expression of surrendering when your opponent puts you in a submission.

UFC- is the leading ORGANIZATION that holds MMA ( mixed martial arts events”

mma is the sport that you want to train it.

start off by finding a good gym and tell the instructor that you want to fight MMA. he’ll most likely find out what your strong parts are and what your weak parts are and you will work on them. and adding skills to your arsenal is crucial.

As for finding a gym search google for mma gyms in your area or surrounding areas, mma schools are popping up all over the country, so you shouldn’t have any problem in finding one, i moved from where i lived to train with a pro gym, in florida so sometimes if it’s dream to fight, and train with the best you make sacrifices and just do it.

There is a place in Tupelo where I train BJJ. They also have a fight team, and they train Muy Thai. I wouldn’t get my hopes up of fighting within 2 – 3 yrs. but if you work hard you never know. Give them a call, I really like it there.
