How well will a heavyweight boxing champion do in the UFC?

completely different techniques needed,

really a boxer would be beaten in the first round,

the same as if an mma fighter came to boxing they would be destroyed

For those that dont know boxing, UFC would get completely crushed. #1 Heavyweights have stronger hands, #2 have better technique, # 3 proper footbalance, #4 more conditioned athletes, #5 and they clinch with gloves.
Think about it, all the boxer would really have to train for is holding and heavyweights do it through most of the fight.

The heavyweight champion is Wladimir Klitschko, thats a hell of a champion!

He would do just fine. You don’t need to study martial arts to do well in the UFC. Quinton Jackson didn’t study any of that garbage and he’s the #2 p4p figher in the world. Its overrated. I agree with the poster above, a boxer just needs to learn how to hold, I would like to see a boxer try his luck in the UFC.
