I’m weighing in at 185 and I am 189 right now. I’ll be fighting a guy 0-0 like myself and this amatuer, to let you know. Can I have some good advice from people who have fought before? Let me know about your mistakes you have made. What was your attitude on fight day?

I hope you have a corner that is good and that you can trust. If so, formulate a game plan and try an stick with it. This may not happen, but either way listen to your corner. Again, listen to your corner. It’s hard to give you any other advice with you knowing you or your opponent.
Good luck!
Dude, any advice I give, or anyone else gives will go out the damn window.
That first fight is always a blur, and more than likely will not last more than a round or two.
If you are lucky enough (even if you are winning it is still lucky, as ring time is important) to get into the second round, you can actually derive some benefit there and calm down after that initial shock. But the adrenaline dump is going to happen, and in reality it depends on how hard and intense your training has been as far as how effective you will be when the juice hits.
Go out there, have fun, and do what you can do. Truthfully you won’t hear a damn thing your corner is saying when you are out there, the crowd, the blood rushing through your ears and the fight will be all that is on your mind.
Have fun, and you will learn everything you need to know right then. Win, Lose, or Draw these first fights only help you see where you truly need to improve and where your strengths are.
Have fun, and be a warrior.
Good luck!
Come right out and throw a crazy knee. Follow that with a spinning back fist. If the fight is still going on after that. Stick to what you know and let the fight guide you.
Listen to bulldog.
I’ve never been in an MMA fight, but I have wrestled and watched many fights in several MMA organizations. From what I’ve seen, the best thing you can do is try to remain calm and focused. Don’t go for anything crazy early on because moves like flying knees, spinning back fists and high kicks rarely connect at the beginning of a fight and will leave you vulnerable. Try to pay attention to your opponent’s movements and work what you know best.
Condition condition condition. The worst thing that can happen to you is that you get tired and lose because of that. Walking around panting and unable to throw a decent punch is much more humiliating than a KO in my opinion.
during fights my mind is open…and my adrenaline is pressed from the first punch i receive…then my body goes into overdrive until the bell…those 5 minutes are exuberating….my first mistake wen i first start fightin was being out of shape…after shaing up, it was balance and precision….wt good is it to throw punches if you miss and can’t hold your balance after being hit….but i have a record of 73-9 (Streetfightin: Kickboxer, submissionist, muay thai)…i have no pro MMA or PBA record…the streets get me mad money…my hustle—contact me for mo info about sponsorship or tips
