I was born deaf
Even thought I see UFC coaches yell a lot, you know just trying to help their champion to win the match, and it would be nearly impossible for the UFC coaches to yell or to help me out some
is there anyone in the UFC have hearing problems?
And Do you think I have a pretty good chances of making it and winning matches ?
Thanks for answering

There is already a deaf fighter in the UFC and he has done very well from what I remember. I think his name is Hamill or something like that.
Matt Hammill is deaf and has never allowed that to hinder him and is now jumping into the MMA game with the same attitude.
I do think that you will have a pretty good chance of making it and winning matches because if he can do it so can you.
Matt Hamill is a deaf UFC fighter
Matt Hamill is in the UFC and he’s deaf…I’m not sure if he was born that way but he’s full deaf now. The referee has to pull him off at the end of the round or a KO/TKO but other than that it’s not a big deal for him. Also, in his corner he has one man talk and another translate into sign language so that he can understand it. Keep up whatever your doing, I’m sure if Matt can make it then you can too.
Matt Hamill is deaf and has become a pretty successful UFC fighter. He is a very good wrestler and competitor (6-2 in the UFC) and his only losses are against top Light Heavyweights Rich Franklin and Michael Bisping. I’m sure it isn’t easy to be successful with hearing problems, but it’s not something that can’t be overcome.
I see why not. There was a deaf person dancing on “Dancing with the Stars”. If that person can dance while deaf, then you can fight deaf. You may need to hire a hand sign language person, but other than that, you’ll be just as well of a fighter as anyone else there. After all, you don’t need to hear to fight.
Go for it. I am not deaf and I have had teachers on my side of the ring yelling trying to help me to win a match. While the enthusiasm is encouraging to a fighter I always found it impossible to actually make out any instructions given let alone follow them in the heat of a battle. So my guess is you would do just fine. If there are any instructions they could be given in between rounds just as effectively.
It’s worked for Matt Hamill. He was brought in on Season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter reality show. He had a very strong amateur wrestling background, and has improved his striking. I believe his coaches have a signing interpreter in his corner to give him advice between rounds. As you’ve noted, though, during the match he won’t be able to hear any instructions they give. It might not matter that much, though. Hearing fighters will tell you that they sort of zone out during a match, and rarely hear their corners during the action.
Just start training. The only one that can put a limit on what you can do is you.
