Pride fighting is a league, similar to the UFC. The word pride doesn’t necessarily mean gay.
ahhh no…its actually just a league like UFC(some, if not most people say better)
No, if you want to see gay boxing you should watch your dad and his boyfriend fight.
No, but I can see how the Pride thing can throw you off. LOL!!!
No, the UFC is much clswer to gay boxing.
no it is an MMA league that is less restrictive and attracts better talent than the UFC. It also has less restrictive rules.

for your amusement as to what happens to “gay” mma fighters.
Pride FC is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) league started in Japan in 1997 that allows fighters from different schools to come and fight to see which is the best form or combination of forms in the world. It is similar to UFC but includes fighters from around the world and an almost endless variety of fighting styles. UFC tends to feature American fighters and a limited number of styles mostly. So, no, it is not gay fighting. Watch a Pride FC event live or on television and you will quickly see for yourself that this is the real thing.
You would have to be gay to see gay in pride ‘fighting’
it is not gay pride, but just PRIDE.
it seems gay curious folks always see gay in everything. well for your information only having sex or ‘sensual’ touching with someone the same sex is gay.
what do you think? can you now answer your own question?
1. Pride Fighting, along with other Mixed Martial Arts that incorporate grappling, is a sport. it has zero to do with sexual orientation, and everything to do with addressing dimensions of combat often overlooked, which is ground fighting.
2. Grappling has existed for thousands of years, originally in the form of roman-greco wrestling and jujitsu martial arts.
3. While i don’t practice ground fighting techniques (i am Aikidoka), i do believe that they are a necessary element in a martial artists arsenal.
4. The jokes can be cracked all day long until the day comes when the fight ends up on the ground and you don’t know how to defend yourself because you felt your masulinity would be in question if you decided to train in ground fighting.
i think ray got it pretty well right.maybe you could join in and be the one in the middle, the double adapter?prides where the real talent and fighters are ufc is for the ones still in training to be fighters or the has beens.
