@willwork4superpowazz Trinidad used too much tape on his hands and he was caught by Hopkins’ camp. Tape is heavier and denser than wraps and produces heavier harder hands which results in alot more power. As for Cotto beating Mexicans, those were nobodies. Mexican champs beat puerto ricans who are nobodies too but we dont think anything of it because we’re not obsessed with you guys like you are about us. We always beat your best. Get over it.

@alex3373 LOL! Hopkins camp busted Trinidad Borichango using too much tape. Tape’s denser/heavier than wraps and gauze and much much more fits around your fists when one’s wearing gloves. That equates to much heavier/harder hands and much more punching power. Trinidad the Borichango is a cheater

@xXIonTechXx: We weren’t discussing “higher winning overall percentage.” That foo’ was saying no Mexican fighter other than Sal Sanchez beat a Puerto Rican, so I cited those bouts as examples. Not sure what you’re talking about. Anyway, I keep hearing about some winning percentage involving PR vs. Mex’ boxers…who compiled those stats? I can’t find it on the web but I’d like to check it out. I did see the one which listed Mexico w/114 world champs and PR w/42.

As for using “solid facts” (i.e. names), that’s exactly what I did in my earlier post. I referenced six fights involving Mexican vs. PR fighters–eight fights total since there were three Cuevas/Espada fights. So what’s your problem?
