Why should Aoki go to the UFC? Penn has already put the UFC lightweight division in a chokehold. If anything, Penn should leave the UFC, to find some real competition.

in a way i agree bout penn beating ne1 in the lightweight division. but no1 fights in their own division dude. name one person that naturally weighs the amount that they weigh in at. and gsp and bj penn arent THAT much more then welterweight and lightweight theyre about 10-15 pounds more naturally i believe maybe gsp is a lil more but like i said no1 actually fights in the weightclass they actually weigh in not just the champions

either way he broke his arm that should be satisfying enough he didnt have to give him the finger and i wouldnt say not tapping is disresectful maybe he wasnt hurt that bad before the arm broke and thought he could sumhow get out of it maybe thats y he didnt tap either way it didnt warrant the behavior of aoki but its been 2 months now lol aoki needs to sign with the ufc and then lets see how he does against penn

@slothdaddy915 im guessing that Aoki became offended when Hirota wouldnt tap, especially since Aoki is a submission master, sort of like someone leaving their hands down by their waist when they’re fighting a world class striker.
@slothdaddy915 take an average person and have them train 7 days a week and they still wont get their black belt in 3 years. BJ is called the “prodigy” for a reason. Prodigy-.1.a person, esp. a child or young person, having extraordinary talent or ability

noone downplayed bjs bjj im sayin people keep braggin bout how quick he got it compared to others. theres more then one reason he got it quick other then he was amazing at it and i understand where ur coming from diego did the same thing he got his black belt from greg jackson left him and went to Saulo Ribeiro and basically had to start over from scratch. i kno all about bj’s past i understand hes a top notch bjj fighter but there were more reasons then that for y he got his black belt so quick
He started with Ralph Gracie but ended up getting his black belt from Andre Pederneiras. Andre is a black belt under carlson gracie and gave marc liamon, Renato verrisemo, Robson Mora, Vitor Ribierio, pretty sure john lewis too. BJ was also the first american to win the Worlds and after only three years of training. Going against guys who have been training for their whole lives. So dont down play bjs jiu jitsu he didnt get named “The Prodigy” for nothng.
I train at royce gracie jiu jitsu and he has only given out 14 black belts ever. It also differs from who your getting your belt from. Some places give you a belt because your paying to train there. If your getting a belt from the gracies espically a black belt most of the time its going to be longer then 6 yrs more like 8-10.
