Unfortunatly no, PrideFC is well known for their paper champions and this is the second time Gomi has lost in his last 5 fights and not given up his belt. Also Sakibara (president of PrideFC) said there will be a rematch, this time for the title although it may not be for over 6 months as Nick Diaz is expected to be suspended by the Neveda State Athletic Commision because he tested posative for marijuana in his post fight drug test.
nope but he did beat gomi, i was suprise diaz didnt want another fight but this time for his belt. i was shock to see gomi drunk-like after the first few minutes of the match, almost like he threw away the match.

No…it was scheduled to be a non title fight all along since Pride seems to love its current champions!
