How much stock can you place in a list that only it’s latest update 3/17/08 has just now placed Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira? Heavyweight Pride Champion who has beaten everyone he has faced save for 31 wins 19 submissions, and he is finally good enough to be accepted to the Sherdog P4P list… for the first time sharing the stage with such all time greats as Aoki Shinya and Quniton Jackson and Randy Couture.
… Are you f’n kidding? No disrespect to the above mentioned fighters, but they are not in the class of a perennial stud like Nogueira– a guy who actually win’s a high percentage of his fights. What are your thoughts?
Only one fighter has an undefated record against Nogueira, and that fighter shall remain nameless for our purporses.

P4P lists are pretty much pointless beyond number 3. We all know who the best fighters in the world are, do we really need to see that Gomi is ranked above BJ? It’s all opinion. Gomi was technically removed from the rankings for about a week, but he beats Bang via cut and he’s immediately ranked highly? Rankings are dumb.
