in china, dating back 5000 years, chinese monks have manuscripts teaching kung fu and other fighting styles. because the chinese had a writing & prints, we still have these manuscripts today. by the way, the oldest form of writing belongs to the chinese. it dates back 5000 years, which is still being used today. can any one else say that? even the people in brazil claim their fight style is from brazil.
