Ufc 112 Invincible! 3 Great Fights!

by MasterBlaster on May 1, 2010

Two title fights One Huge night.  On April 10, 2010 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the world famous UfC is hosting another great pay-per-view event .UFC 112 Invincible. There will be a clash of Legends with Mat Hughes going toe to toe with Renzo Gracie; also B.J Penn is defending his title against a young tough fighter named Frankie Edgar, and finally a middleweight title fight with Anderson Silva facing off to defend his title against Brazalian Jiu-Jitsu master Demian Maia.

The main event of the night will be Silva VS Maia.  Demian Maia has a huge opportunity in this fight. Maia (12-1-0) will be looking to take the fight to the ground and use his mastery skills in BJJ (brazalian-jiu-jitsu) to submit a powerful striker in Anderson Silva (25-4-0). Anderson silver has a much better chance winning this fight if he can keep the fight on its feet. Silva has a great reach advantage and if he can use his foot work then Maia will be in for a long night. On the other hand if the fight goes to the ground then Silva will be in a lot of trouble. Silva is not good of his back, and Maia is a wizard on the ground and I think he will easily submit Silva if the fight hits the ground.

B.J Penn is defending his title against Frankie Edgar. B.J who is coming off two wins in his last three fights is looking better then ever. With wins over Deigo Sanchez, and Kenney Florien proved that B.J is at the height of his fighting career. With a new conditioning coach, and his reinvented desire to be the best fighter in the world, it will be nearly impossible for Frankie Edgar to beat him on Saturday night. Frankie show cased his superb boxing skills when he took on Sean shark and come up with the decisions victory. Frankie will need every ounce of concentration to take on Penn.

As a  Brazilian Jiu-jitsu practitioner, I am looking forward to  the match up between Mat Hughes against Renzo Gracie. Mat Hughes (44-7-0) is no rookie, when it comes to huge epic fights. Mat is collegiate wrestler, with wins over some of the best fighters the UFC has to offer. Mat has some of the best wrestling skills in the game today, and he has already beating a Gracie before, and he will be looking to do it again. Renzo Gracie (13-6-1) will be looking to re-honor his family. Mat Hughs made a mockery of the Gracie family when he beat Royce Gracie back at UFC 86, Renzo Gracie, who is a proud BJJ fighter is looking for revenge.
