Carlos is hiding behind his ego, He did catch Rory with that punch in the first round but round one and two Rory took him down multiple times, hit him with so many clean crisp combinations, in round two you even see Condit shake his head in frustration cuz Rory was executing punches, counter punches and take downs at will, but I have to admit, 3rd round was a beat down, but Condit needs to stop thinking he’s the best, If there is a rematch, Rory is definitely gonna win since he played con R1&2.

@rayj778 what you’re saying makes no sense at all… and nobody’s saying it’s Carlos’s fault. If a guy wins round 1, he doesn’t automatically win the fight, so why should he win the fight if he only wins round 3… it makes no difference what round it is. I’m struggling to see why this is so hard for you to understand. Most people who watch/participate in the sport understand the scoring, so i’m assuming you’re new to mma, but the scoring system used is ALMOST universal. It’s nothing new.
@LIFEinSTRIFE Yeah, it makes a lot of sense to you & masteridiot for giving a “W” to a guy who gets his ass handed to him on the final round. That’s like saying a guy who was winning rounds 1 & 2, & then gets knocked the fuck out out on the 3rd round still deserves the WIN. @rayj778 im gunna go with masterblastertkd here…there are rules that regulate the fights in the attempt to make it fair. It was an early stopage IMO but then again i wasnt in the ring! And your perception of the sport is riddiculous, you are completely disregarding the current format with things like ’rounds’,'divisions’ and ‘points’….i think you would enjoy UFC 1 – 10 where none of this existed.

@rayj778 no it’s not… it’s a sport dumbass, not a real fight. Are you new to the sport? They have a rules book you can find online… it might help explain. You don’t have to like it, but it’s a fact. Maybe you missed it, but this “fight” took place in the ufc, not in the street.

@rayj778 haha, that’s ridiculous. Of course Rory would’ve won the fight, and of course it would’ve been fair. He was winning 2 rounds to 1. It doesn’t matter who’s winning at the end of the fight, that’s why they keep score. that’s like saying, “last goal wins”.
@MexicanMetlAC but that’s not how the rules work… a stoppage should only be made for what’s happening at that exact moment, not for what happened earlier… bad stoppage IMO. It was a hell of a fight regardless, and i think they’re both awesome fighters.

It was an awful stoppage, had the ref allowed it to continue for the final 7 seconds of the fight, MacDonald would have won the decision. However, none of that is Carlos’ fault. Carlos did what he had to do to win. Hell of a scrap, either way.
Fucking 7 seconds and Rory would’ve been the winner…and he stood back up immediately. Shit stoppage, but the Wiman stoppage was the worst I’ve ever seen. Worse than Cain/Rothwell. Yves Lavigne has been blowing ass lately.
