cwalkin54 June 20, 2010 at 21:16

pat berry is a beast and had he not broke his hand and had to much respect for cro cop i think he could of finished him the second time he knocked him down but he kept letting him up i know berrys ground game isnt much but i still think he could of finished him very talented and exciting guy though with some nasty kickboxing definately ordering his fights in the future

Questionere June 20, 2010 at 21:52

This statement, is beyond retarded. The general consensus is he let him up, even Pat Barry himself said he should have followed up and finished in a post fight interview. The rest of it barely even makes sense, and doesn’t pertain to what i was even saying. Being a nice guy and true sportsman doesn’t give him a ground game or make him a good fighter. C level fighter. You said it youself, no ground game. Don’t watch drink while you watch UFC, it makes your meat-head think slower.

Questionere June 20, 2010 at 22:50

@Beadle87 Lmao, you say it all in this statement. You can say what you want, and you are just an “mma fan”. But anyone else who replies is a “wannabe joe rogan”.
Which is very telling about your grasp of hypocrisy, and also literacy for that matter.
I KNOW you are a guy with a beer and affliction T-shirt, becuase you don’t know how to spell or use punctuation. Yet you are clearly a young adult, one who puts his birth year in his screen-name. Go take another shot.

honkyxadonis June 20, 2010 at 23:48

i’m glad cro cop won but, barry really should have jumped on him after he caught him, he would have won simple as that

@Questionere wow stupid people are the ones who make snap judgements and respond with personal and completely unrelated comments,i am neither a meat head nor a cro cop nut hugger,i do not kit myself out in affliction t-shirts i am simply an mma fan leaving his opinion on the fight i witnessed,i unlike u am not trying to make out i know everything about the mma world,u seem like a wannabe joe rogan, lol,i guess ur pissed because ur man crush on barry has been tarnished by his humiliating loss.=(

epic103 June 21, 2010 at 02:33

@Questionere

You sound like a fool?

The class that Pat Barry showed was unbelievable!

To a young kickboxer like Pat Barry, Cro Cop is a icon.

How many fighters get a chance to fight their hero?

ABOUT BARRY NOT RUSHING IN.
1st. Cro Cop came up fast after he was hit.

2nd. There is always a danger of rushing in to finish a fighter early, you could end up getting caught yourself with a big shot!

3rd. Barry has no ground game!

Pat Barry is great for MMA!!! A true sportsman!

1LaughingBudha June 21, 2010 at 02:53

pat has more than doubled his fan base by doing this fight! he’s on my top 3 fav mma fighters, just because of how he behaves and so on

Questionere June 21, 2010 at 03:20

@Beadle87 Lmao you must be one of those guys with a beer in your hand and an affliction shirt. These are both C level UFC fighters, Barry had this fight won and didn’t follow up out of respect. After the fight Mirko walked around and talked on the mic like he beat Zeus, and cut off barrys mic time. Did you even watch this fight? Or were you too busy “faggin out” on mirko? I don’t expect you to grasp the hypocrisy of your statement. Just understand you are a stupid meat-head.

hornetpalooza June 21, 2010 at 04:02

Pat will get better! Stick with it, man, want to see you grow as a fighter and fight again soon.

BathingGorillas June 21, 2010 at 04:45

hes humble, he had that fight won…

craze6663 June 21, 2010 at 05:08

i just become a pat barry fan too :D

craze6663 June 21, 2010 at 06:04

he had that shit win….he just had to dive in and grown and pound -.-

ninjaBREAUX June 21, 2010 at 07:00

great fight pat…. he’ll be back.. new orleans baby!

1viewer6 June 21, 2010 at 07:41

Sometimes losing a big match is the best way to make sure you train harder and be smarter in future matches. Barry is too smart to not learn from this fight….he will definitely be back and be better than ever. As a side note, he’s a nice guy with a good attitude.

Beadle87 June 21, 2010 at 08:22

i really disliked this guy from the moment i heard his “i dont hit hard,i hit scary comment” im glad crocop won,i think he just got fed up with barry trying to fag him out !!

Istina52 June 21, 2010 at 08:26

Nice guy Pat Barry, hard to believe you could find such a character in such a sport! Think we will see more of Barry, he has got great potential!

mrxhacker June 21, 2010 at 08:57

well now I a least know why he gave up in the second and third round. I couldn’t figure out why he stoped fighting but now I can’t believe he even kept fighting. I hope he gets another good chance in the ufc. He showed in the first round how good he is when he is not hurt, so i’m sure he will be a force to wrecking with soon.

ThePerkonm June 21, 2010 at 08:59

Pat Barry is one of my new favorite fighter. he is funny very rerspectfull and good fighter he only need to work on ground game and wretling
