Whoa! I’m not a big fan of Fitch’s fighting, but I have a new respect for the man after watching this video. He’s an intelligent dude.

Well done Jon, factory farming is sickening and it is the norm. The companies that “grow” meat supply all the grocery stores.
Same reason the family farms are almost gone.

Xthx420X April 16, 2010 at 19:05

you r a wise mofo

VeganMotorcyclePilot April 16, 2010 at 19:42

@rti27 Dr Oz has a pro veg video too, search Meat Eating Cowboy goes Vegan. Even a former rancher disgusted with factory farming went veg MadCowboy (dot) com.

I saw Myspot /VegetarianVeganParadise has those videos up, wow.

Anyone interested in the food issue should watch the documentary Food, Inc. (2008). It’s about American food industry and it covers all the stuff that Jon was talking about.

TheDonkeyFLOPPER April 16, 2010 at 20:12

wow
i think forrest griffin should start rubbing aloe vera on his face
though it might be too late for him

wangtheory April 16, 2010 at 20:40

as someone who loves all kinds of meat, pesticides and nonorganic foods as well as jon fitch and mma, i think he does a great job talking about organic foods and nutrition without being overly hostile, pretentious or condescending. we can agree to disagree, but jon fitch is a cool dude.

hentaiwacker April 16, 2010 at 20:47

To all you dumbasses,

Jon’s emphasis is on the quality of the meat with all of it’s nutritional value and quality, and not on animal rights.

War Pork Chops!

streetfightermatt April 16, 2010 at 21:36

who gives a fuck about the actual fighting, this is about mma nutrition, so stop the arguing

region1111 April 16, 2010 at 22:28

Honestly Joanne, you’re a little bit naive about just how dangerous this sport really is. Any punch to the head can kill someone, if landed at just the right point with just the right amount of force.

Any doctor will tell you they’ve seen people die who died from blows to the head.

And no, fighters don’t say “I’m going to kill him” just to sell fights, it’s also to pump themselves up.

Also with the amount of brain damage these guys take they’re all taking years off each other’s lives.

PanicPulse April 16, 2010 at 22:41

but that is easy to say when you know you don’t actually have the ability to kill them. And from there it goes back to restraint and respect for your opponent after they go limp.

PanicPulse April 16, 2010 at 23:14

Those fighter statements are just to sell tickets. And no “killer blows” are ever landed in the UFC. It is possible that a UFC fighter may die one day several days after a fight due to brain hemoraging, but highly unlikely. With that being said yes you can say you are throwing a punch to take someones head off and try to kill them,

PanicPulse April 16, 2010 at 23:51

yup.

BadassMMA April 16, 2010 at 23:54

Wise words about the meat that you should know where it´s coming from or buy organic meat but I wouldn´t eat any soy food.

rti27 April 17, 2010 at 00:08

oh one more thing, He needs to clean his house.

rti27 April 17, 2010 at 00:48

i thought Jon looked smaller his last fight. Dr. Oz books cover the same info. Great stuff.

Ashitanoyuki April 17, 2010 at 00:50

That plant can also cure mosquito bites.

FurShurr1316 April 17, 2010 at 00:55

wow i have 2 of those plants on the side of my house … theyre like 2.5 ft tall … joanne the inside is like clear a gooey right ?… just wanna make sure im using the right stuff thanks

region1111 April 17, 2010 at 01:48

Joanne: You’re just talking about the end of the fight. At any other point in the fight, most of them want to hit each other as hard as they can – and if that lands a killing blow, so be it. They’ll rarely say it to the press of course, but don’t kid yourself.

Urijah faber has outright said people step in the ring and try to kill each other. And tito ortiz has been fantasizing about killing his opponents for years. He said he was gonna kill forrest last time. Couldn’t do it though.

xMarucsFenixX April 17, 2010 at 02:11

Yeah that´s a lot better meat than to just buy some meat from the store. My mom´s husband hunts a few month a year and I get some meat from them.

kkirT April 17, 2010 at 02:24

At night I sneak out into the forest and give all the wild animals hormone injections.

Didn’t think of that didya?

PanicPulse April 17, 2010 at 03:21

aloe vera

elheadkickio April 17, 2010 at 04:06

It’s important to know where all your meat comes from. Me, I know all of mine comes from Wendy’s. mmmmmm baconator!

Devon187 April 17, 2010 at 04:10

region1111 you say the stupidest things…

‘oh if the ref wasn’t there they would’

no they wouldn’t? and there is a ref… why would you say that anyways, it’s irrelevant..

we can say ‘what ifs’ all day…
