UFC Fighters Visit Marine Corps Museum

by MasterBlaster on June 16, 2010

At the conclusion of this three-part series, UFC fighters Gabriel Gonzaga, Marcus Davis, Rashad Evans, Forrest Griffin, former Marine Brian Stann, and UFC founder Dana White visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps. While the physical demands of Marine Corps Martial Arts Program training certainly took its toll, a trip to the museum may have provided the UFC fighters with the most valuable and lasting lessons. @thedude1428 Just do whatever you have to to make it past the first 3 weeks to a month and you will be fine. After that you just get into the groove of things and are numb to everything else. Good luck.

Good job Dana , this shows who the real modern day warrior are. Now let see the Navy seals!

Gaia029 June 17, 2010 at 06:36

As a former Marine I wish I realized how much more fun it really was. I guess because it was also a job that the fun was a bit overshadowed. Kick ass series and it was great to see the UFC/USMC crossover. I really enjoyed it.

@cobrakilla1 Sorry, senior moment.

cobrakilla1 June 17, 2010 at 08:07

@xxxyyy143 Just wanna let you know if you 18 your an adult if 17 its between that kid and his parents.Dont bitch about something you dont like if some1 younger than you is gonna go out and put his or her life on the line for you. So you know not every job in the military is a Grunt job. Most young adults that join the military pick a MOS thats none combative and its something that they can use outside of the military.

cobrakilla1 June 17, 2010 at 08:08

@bertly71 you 4 got adapt :P

KillaCarta June 17, 2010 at 09:39

@katocorporation no they arnt, im in the fucking paras you tool and we are not special forces, UK SF are SAS and SBS, 1 Para and 1 Commando are a special forces SUPPORT UNITS..

katocorporation June 17, 2010 at 10:32

@KillaCarta Yes, they are special forces. And I know Marines aren’t special forces, but they do have a special forces detachment, like I said. COMPREHEND.

blackshaboinka June 17, 2010 at 10:59

@KillaCarta yeah, fuck what other people say, Marines (US, Royal, and ROK) got some of the hardest training I’ve ever been a part of! And I’ve cross-trained with a lot of foreign units.

KillaCarta June 17, 2010 at 11:35

@blackshaboinka fair comment, i suppose maybe its because they use different techniques and it takes alot of getting used to

KillaCarta June 17, 2010 at 12:34

@l3lip in the UK commandos/paras are not classed as special forces.. and before you carry on with your shite about “when you serve come back” il let you know i am currently serving with the paras in the UK
