It’s a free country. Besides, I doubt if winning matches was the only reason he fought. He’s had to overcome a lot of obstacles and prejudice to get to where he is, he’s not about to let other people’s low opinion of his ability or lack of it to win any fights stop him from achieving his dreams. You gotta give him credit for at least trying, which is more than I can say of people who have all their limbs and just talk a lot of smack but never walk the walk.

i was thinking this same thing me and my wife saw footage of the fight and i personaly dont think he should be fighting mma to me there is to many disadvantages for both sides. not to be blunt but, he cant stand and bang.. in his fight video all he did was run around and try to take the guy down while he got hit with shot after shot. i mean thats why they have special olympics for the disabled. and no im not being mean just telling the truth. you dont see people with no physical problems performing in the special olympics. so it has mixed problems for both sides. but i will say any one who has the ability, and the dream, should do what there heart tells them to do. im mixed on the subject

Kyle is obviously engaging in MMA, wrestling, and football as a way of dealing with his condition. I say good for him. I also think people should applaud his opponents as well. I don’t think Kyle wants them to take it easy on him or let him get them down. That would defeat the purpose of what he’s doing.

First off how the state of Alabama could clear him to fight is beyond me and seems a little crazy.

However, with that said you have to applaud the guy for trying. It’s something he wanted to do, and he showed that if you want to do something you should have no excuse for why you can’t do it.

I also applaud the guy who took the fight (regardless of what Worth Every Dollar says) he knew he’d be stepping in to a no win situation, if he won he’d be known as the guy who beat a quadruple amputee. But if he lost he’d be the guy who lost to a quadruple amputee. But he fought enough to win, nothing powerful or with intent to knock him out. I’m sure if Kyle had started to take him down he would have gradually increased his aggressiveness just enough to win. But he did the right thing, plus he took the fight when probably no one else would and he helped Kyle do something he wanted to with no excuses.
