I heard Wanderlei Silva is very popular. Basically the Chute Boxe guys are very popular. But i think the best Brazilian fighters today are Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva. Machida and Silva are both champions.
Machida has won every round in his UFC career and is the new UFC Light heavyweight champion and Anderson Silva is the most dominant champion ever in the UFC. Anderson Silva has cleaned out the UFC middleweight division that there is no one left to fight him now.

i believe anderson silva is because his dominance in the middleweight. Lyoto Machida has been dominating in light heavy weight but hasn’t faced some of the toughest oppents yet like, mauricio rua, rampage, forrest griffin and wanderlei silva. Also Anderson has defended his title for 5 title matches. Lyoto might get to cocky and lose. But that would be a great fight Anderson “the spider” Silva vs Lyoto “the dragon” Machida.
Really! Most of the Brazilian don’t watch fights.
Maybe it would be better if you changed your question changing this “most popular” to “most known”.
Anyway… I don’t know…
I believe Belfort because he had a reality show there that he was basicaly doing sex on it!
