Why do you think Chuck Liddell is now scheduled to fight Rich Franklin at UFC 115 and not Tito Ortiz?

Maybe because tito is a bitch.

Tito has had a long list of injuries during his career. Some say he has overtrained at many times during his career. He has had back, neck, knee and various other issues. My guess is that he suffered an injury.

WOW..this would be interesting..but we all know the Iceman was gonna freeze “Crybaby” Ortiz in his footsteps.

I hate Lidell but I agree…everyone knew he was going to kick the crap out of Ortiz

No reason has been given, but there were rumors going around a while back that he was injured in some capacity during the filming of the current TUF season and had to pull out of the fight.

Well…there are rumors going around that he gets kicked off of TUF, most likely this weeks episode (they said someone is getting kicked off this week). Also, on Tito’s twitter, he said this…”“I haven’t lied to anyone. I was told not to say ‘Anything’! Having a chance to be sued for $5 million was not a chance I wanted to take. So watch TUF 11 and see what happens. I was just doing what I was told, for once. Sorry!”. I have no clue why he pulled out, I guess we just need to watch TUF to find out :) .

I think it makes for a good fight. As much as everyone wanted to see Liddell win another fight against Tito for the third time, this match up is much more interesting. I wonder if Tito leaves mid-season for some reason and Franklin steps in to coach. Makes watching the show that more interesting.

Tito has always been very dramatic. He has a reputation for making mountains out of mole hills and being completely unreasonable.

Dana and Tito at one time were friends… however that was a long time ago. At one point dana and Tito were supposed to square off in a boxing match. But Tito did not show up to the weigh in and the fight never materialized

I personaly belive Tito is just dodging Liddell. Now i am not a Liddell or a Tito fan. And everytime Chuck fights anyone all the chuck “Fan Boys” say “oh his style is tailor made for chuck .chuck is gonna kill him” I hate when people say this because it is rarly the case (especially recently). but in the case of Tito it is true. All Tito has is Ground N pound. And even though i feel almost every aspect of Chucks game is over rated the only part that i feel is not over rated is his take down defense and his insane ability to just stand up after he gets taken down.

Its a good move for tito to duck the fight. This could have been a great 1st fight for Chucks come back. Rich Franklin how ever although not know for his knock out power could easily out strike Chuck and give him many more problems then Tito would have

EDIT: Who are the haters that are giving everyone thumbs down? Probably just Tito NutHuggers who are to scared to post … real classy guys

Cuz Tito is scared if getting his but whooped again

My guess is that the total economy of this fight night including advertising, pay-per-views, tickets, purses, gaming, facilities, logistics, and so on probably turned out to me a much higher dollar value than anyone expected because these TUF guys are really good.

Tito Ortiz is pretty volatile and Rich Franklin is pretty dependable, so they went ahead and locked in a fight that they knew would happen – especially after Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans not panning out last season.

Over all I see Rich Franklin’s timing and technique being superior to Chuck Liddell’s knockout power and wrestling, much like Lyoto Machida vs. Thiago Silva. Chuck is a bit bigger and he can win with one hit, so don’t count him out – but my wager is going to be on Rich Franklin.
