Will MMA fighting like ufc and pride fighting put boxing out of business?

Boxing’s more or less out itself out of buisness. If boxing is going to survive and not just become a niche sport permanently, they need to put good fights on free tv. I dont think orginizations like UFC had anything to do with the decline in boxing. Pay-per-view did.

I don’t think boxing is going away as a sport. Not everyone’s into ground and pound, however effective that may appear to be in a medium that encourages such tactics.

the modern world does not like nor accept the limitations of boxing. Who in their right mind would preffer mindles pummeling over the freedom of movement, freedom of choice and overall realness of any other sport-fight out there?
