Can his explosive hits, and streetfighter background counter the mixed martial arts moves that UFC showcases?

Once Iron Mike is brought to the ground…he is TOAST. Yes, he may last a few minutes- because of his ability to take hits, and deliver some good blows- but a UFC streetfighter would pummel him into submission…..once Tyson goes down. I think it would be a great match!
Tyson’s chances of winning would be if he could keep the fight standing up and then landing what would be a hopeful shot, before his opponent lands his own punch or devastating kick or knee. Now, if Tyson gets taken to the ground, then I think it would be short and easy work for the UFC champ.
He would not. Brock Lesnar is very strong and very fast for a guy his size. Lesnar could take Tyson down at will. Tyson would have to train with the best wrestlers in the country very hard to keep the fight standing or learn jiu-jitsu but that would take years not months for Tyson.
Many boxers think the best way to stop a wrestler from taking you down is to try to punch the wrestler in the face while they are going for a takedown. Its actually not the best idea. Actually when you throw a punch its easier to get taken down then if you dont throw a punch. Best idea is to sprawl. Train hard in sprawling that is the best way to stop takedown or learn submissions cause you cannot box a wrestler if you cannot prevent being takendown.
